í Setting 3 Band PLL Tuner

There are 3 x FM frequencies (FM1, FM2 and FM3),

2 x medium wave frequencies (MW1 and MW2) and

1 x long wave frequency band for selection. Every

frequency band has six pre-settings for storing radio

stations.

· Press the

ENT

button bnand select the fre-

quency band that you wish to receive. The display

reads the frequency band, e.g. [FM2], the fre-

quency, e.g. [99.20] of a broadcasting station

received or the programme ID during stereo

reception and [TP] for trafﬁ c updates.

í Auto station search

· Start the station search on lower frequencies

by brieﬂ y touching the

button 9. The

tuner tunes automatically into the next broad-

casting station that can be received and indicates

the station in the display.

· Start the station search on higher frequencies

by brieﬂ y touching the

button bl. The

tuner tunes automatically into the next broad-

casting station that can be received and indicates

the station in the display.

í Manual station search

· Press and hold the

button 9 to search

manually for a radio station on lower frequencies.

The display reads [MANUAL].

· Press and hold the

button 9again until

the desired radio station is tuned into.

· Press and hold the

bl to manually search

for a broadcasting station at a higher frequency.

The display reads [MANUAL].

· Press and hold the

bl again until the

desired radio station is tuned into. Determine the

pre-set number of the radio station tuned into.

· Press for approx. two seconds the button for the

desired pre-set number:

í Automatic radio station search

and memory

This function automatically searches for six radio

stations with sufﬁ cient intensity within the selected

frequency band.

· Press the

A/PS

button 8to start the func-

tion. The automatic radio search stops for 5

seconds as soon as a radio station is tuned

into. The display ﬂ ashes the details of the radio

station tuned into and reads the pre-set

number, e.g. [4].

The MP3 car radio - recorder stores the radio

station on pre-setting 4.

You can determine the pre-set station of the

radio station tuned into.

· Press during the ﬁ ve seconds of the details

ﬂ ashing on the display the button for the de-

sired pre-set number:
