CAUTION

►

Always remove the plug  from the power

socket before ﬁlling the appliance! There is a

risk of electric shock!

♦ Remove the water tank  by sliding back the

release of the water tank until you can

lift the water tank up. Grip the water tank 

by the protruding gripping aids with your thumb

and index ﬁnger and lift it up vertically. The tem-

perature control  stays on the appliance and

is not removed along with the water tank.

♦ Open the ﬁller opening  in the water tank .

♦ Use the measuring cup 0 to ﬁll the water tank 

with water to the “Max” marking.

♦ Close the ﬁller opening  in the water tank .

Ensure that the collar in the ﬁller opening 

locks into the notch on the lid. This means that

the water tank  is properly closed.

♦ Replace the water tank  onto the appliance.

The water tank  must audibly click into the

release of the water tank.

Attaching/removing the brush

extension

CAUTION

► Never remove or attach the brush extension 3

while the appliance is hot.

Risk of burns!

♦ To use the steam and brush functions, please at-

tach the brush extension 3to the steam brush.

♦ To do this, push the brush extension 3onto

the appliance along the guide aid until it is fully

attached. The release of the brush extension -

must click into place audibly.

♦ To use the ironing function, please remove the

brush extension 3 from the steam brush.

♦ To do this, push the release -downwards and

pull the brush extension 3 oﬀ the appliance.

Steam brush function

♦ Attach the brush extension 3 to the appliance.

It must audibly click into the release of the brush

extension -.

♦ Insert the plug  into a properly installed and

grounded wall socket.

♦ To produce steam, set the temperature control 

UPtttPSIJHIFS5IFIFBUVQJOEJDBUPSMBNQ

lights up. As soon as the selected temperature

has been reached, the heat-up indicator lamp 

goes out.

NOTE

► To use the steam burst function, set the tem-

perature control UPtttPSIJHIFS

Lower temperatures are insuﬃcient for pro-

ducing a burst of steam.

♦ You can now produce a burst of steam by press-

ing the steam burst button .

NOTE

► To produce the ﬁrst burst of steam after heat-

ing the appliance, you may have to press the

steam burst button  several times in a row.

The appliance is now ready for use.

CAUTION

► The steam brush can be used with any piece

of clothing. Be careful when treating heat-

sensitive textiles such as synthetics, polyamide

or artiﬁcial silk. Before treating such materials,

ﬁrst process a small test patch in an invisible

spot (inside of the seam) to ensure that the hot

steam does not damage the material. Do not

apply the hot ironing sole  to these materi-

als directly. Only use the steam burst function.
