This product has a built-in re-

chargeable battery which cannot

be replaced by the user. The re-

moval or replacement of the re-

chargeable battery may only be

carried out by the manufacturer

or his customer service or by a

similarly qualiﬁed person in or-

der to avoid hazards. When dis-

posing of the product, it should

be noted that this product con-

tains a rechargeable battery.

ATTENTION! RISK OF

PRODUCT DAMAGE! Do not

expose the product to direct sun-

shine or heat. The ideal ambient

temperature is between 5 and

40 °C. Extreme low or high

temperature may damage the

battery or the product.

No action is needed from users

to shift the product between

50 and 60 Hz. The product

adapts itself for both 50 and

60 Hz.

Before use

Note: The product may be powered using the

built-in rechargeable battery or the plug-in mains

adapter 7.

Remove all parts from the package.

Charging

Note: Before ﬁrst use, the rechargeable battery

in the product should be charged for at least

90 minutes. A charging time of 90 minutes is also

required subsequently.

The product can be charged directly or indirectly

by using the charging base 6.

Note: The charging process is shown on the dis

play

of the charging display 9 b and the battery-status

display 10 .

Disconnect the product from the plug-in mains

adapter 7 when the battery-status display 10

shows 100.

Note:

Do not leave the product permanently

connected to the plug-in mains adapter 7 to

avoid damage to the battery or the product.

Direct charging (see Fig. C)

To avoid injuries and damage to the product,

always switch the product oﬀ before charging

the battery (Press the ON/OFF button 3 b once

or twice, until the ON/OFF indicator light 3 a

goes oﬀ).

Insert the cable plug of the plug-in mains ad-

apter 7 into the socket on the underside of

the product.

Insert the plug-in mains adapter 7 into a

socket which meets the product requirements.

Indirect charging (see Fig. D)

To avoid injuries and damage to the product,
