Enter basic project data
1. Select [Project data] in the navigation bar.
2. Make the following settings in the "Project data" area:
•In the "Project name" field, enter the new project name (maximum number of characters: 50)
• In order to give a project a project number, enter the desired project number in the "Project
number" field (maximum number of characters: 50).
• To enter the customer's address data, enter the customer's address data in the "Customer"
field. The entry may take up several lines (maximum number of characters: 500) The
customer's address data is also displayed in the project documentation "Project overview" if
you activate "Project overview" in the print wizard.
Select location
• Apply the following settings in the "Location" area:
• Select the desired region from the "Region" drop-down list.
• Select the desired country from the "Country" drop-down list. If the country is not available,
select one that has a similar geographical location and similar climate conditions.
• Select the desired city from the "City" drop-down list. If the city is not available, select one
that has a similar geographical location and similar climate conditions.
☑ If the database contains a line voltage value for the desired location, then this value is
automatically suggested in the "Inverter grid connection > Grid voltage" drop-down list.
Enter inverter grid connection data
• Apply the following settings in the "Inverter grid connection" area:
• To adjust the value for the line voltage, select the desired value in the "Grid voltage"
drop-down list. When designing the PV plant, you can only select inverters that are approved
for the selected line voltage.
• To change the value for the voltage tolerance, enter the desired value in the "Voltage
tolerance" field.
• If the grid connection point is 3-phase, activate the "Three-phase feed-in" check-box and, if
required, enter the desired unbalanced load limit in the field "Consider max. unbalanced
load". Here, the unbalanced load limit must be larger than 0.
• To account for the displacement power factor cos φ, activate the "Specification for
displacement power factor cos φ" check-box and apply the desired settings.
