• To adjust the nominal power ratio, adjust the settings in the "Nominal power ratio" area.
• To adjust the grid connection, adjust the settings in the "Grid connection" area.
4. To use no location template:
•In the "Location" area, select the desired location from the "Region" and "Country"
drop-down lists and enter the name for your own location in the "City" field.
✖ The desire country is greyed out?
• Select a country that has a similar geographical location and similar climate conditions
• Apply the desired settings in the areas "Setpoint for the orientation of the PV array",
"Nominal power ratio" and "Grid connection". You must complete all required fields.
5. To use meteorological data from the SMA meteorological database, select the desired
meteorological data via the drop-down lists "Region", "Country" and "City".
✖ The desired country or the desired city is greyed out?
• Select a country or city that has a similar geographical location and similar climate
conditions.
6. To use your own meteorological data, import meteorological data:
•In the "Meteorological data used" area, select the option Imported meteorological data.
•Select [Import data].
• Select file with meteorological data. Here, the file must meet the requirements of own
meteorological data (see Section 6.15.4"General Requirements of Own Meteorological
Data",page73).
•Select [Open].
☑The "Check data" window opens.
• Adjust the settings if necessary.
•Select [OK].
7. Select [OK].
☑ Settings are displayed in the "Create New Location" window.
6.15.2 Change Own Location
1. Select Tools > Change settings.
☑The "Settings" window opens.
2. Select the "Own locations" tab in the "Locations" area.
3. Select the location you want to edit.
4. Select [Change].
☑The "Create New Location" window opens.
5. Make desired changes.
6. Select [OK].
☑ The settings are saved. The "Create New Location" window closes.
