SAFETY
• By ignoring the safety instructions the
manufacturer can not be hold responsible for
the damage.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its service
agent or similarly qualified persons in order to
avoid a hazard.

BATTERY DISPOSAL

• This product contains a coin/button cell battery. If the coin/button cell

GETTING STARTED
Connecting to power
• Connect the power cord to a wall socket (AC 230V ~ 50Hz).
• The radio is powered and in standby mode when you see the display
is switched on.
Backup system
• The radio is equipped with a backup system. It requires a 3 V lithium
battery (type: CR2032). Insert the battery into the battery compartment
and make sure the positive and negative (+ or -) sides of the battery are
in contact with the corresponding terminals in the battery compartment.
• If a power cut occurs, the radio automatically switches to the battery
power supply and keeps the clock and timer settings.
• To open the battery compartment, use a screwdriver to detach the
screw on the compartment door.
• When replacing the battery, do not disconnect the power adapter.
Otherwise, all clock and alarm settings will be lost.
Setting the clock
• In standby mode, press and hold the SET button to enter the clock
setting mode.
• Setting the time: Press the BACKWARD button to set the hour time and
FORWARD button to set the minute time.
• Press the SET button to confirm each setting option.
Using the antenna
• Unroll and extend the antenna to improve FM signal reception.
Controlling the sound volume
• While listening to the radio, press the VOL UP or DOWN button to control
the volume.
LISTENING TO RADIO
• Press the POWER button to switch the radio on.
• Press the BACKWARD or FORWARD button to adjust frequency.
• Press and hold the BACKWARD or FORWARD button to automatically
tune to the next available FM station.
• Press the POWER button to switch the radio off.
Setting preset stations
• You can store up to 10 preset stations.
• Tune to a station.
• Press and hold the MEM/M+ button until “P01” (or the next available
preset slot) shows on the display.
• Press the BACKWARD or FORWARD button to select a preset number
(P01-P10).
• Press the SET button to confirm. The preset station has been set up.
• Press the MEM/M+ button repeatedly while listening to the radio to select
a preset station. Alternatively, press the MEM/M+ button once and then
press the BACKWARD or FORWARD button to select a preset station.
USING THE ALARMS
Setting alarms
• The radio lets you have 2 alarm settings. To set the alarms:
• In standby mode, press and hold the ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 button to
enter the alarm time setting mode.
• In the alarm setting mode, press the ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 button
repeatedly to cycle through the setting options:
Alarm time > Alarm sound source
• Setting alarm time: Press the BACKWARD to set the hour time and
FORWARD button to set the minute time.
• Setting alarm sound source: Press the BACKWARD or FORWARD
button to select the alarm or radio as the alarm sound source. The
corresponding alarm indicator will turn on according to your selection.
Note: When the alarm is set to radio mode, the alarm will use the last
tuned radio station.
Turning the alarms on or off
• When the clock time is displayed, press the ALARM 1 or ALARM 2
button to enable or disable the respective alarm. The corresponding Alarm
1 or Alarm 2 indicator (alarm or radio) will switch on when the alarm is
enabled.
Deactivating a sounding alarm
• Press any ALARM OFF button to switch off a sounding alarm.
• When the alarm sounds, the corresponding Alarm 1 or Alarm 2 indicator
(alarm or radio) flashes on the display.
Snooze
• To temporarily silence a sounding alarm, press the SNOOZE button. The
alarm will sound again when the snooze period (9 minutes) is over.
• The corresponding Alarm 1 or Alarm 2 indicator (alarm or radio) flashes
on the display during the snooze period.
• To cancel the snooze period and the alarm, press any ALARM OFF
button.
Sleep
• This sleep function defines the duration of time before the radio switches
itself off automatically.
• When the radio is switched on, press the SLEEP button repeatedly to
select a sleep period (Options: Off, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80 and 90
minutes).
• The radio will automatically switch off when the sleep period is over.
• Press the SLEEP button to check the remaining time before the radio
switches off.
• Press the POWER button to cancel this function.
DISPLAY
Display information
• In radio mode, press the BACKWARD or FORWARD button once to
briefly change the display from the clock time to the current radio
frequency.
Display brightness
• In standby mode, press the DIMMER button to change the brightness
level of the display (low level or high level).
Display on/off
• In standby mode, press and hold the DISPLAY ON/OFF button for 2
seconds. "OFF" appears on the display. After 10 seconds, the display
turns off.
• Press any button to turn the display on for another 10 seconds.
• To deactivate this function, press and hold DISPLAY ON/OFF button for
2 seconds. "ON" appears on the display. Then the display switches back
to the clock mode.
Remark: Clock display with dimmer “low” is the default setting.
Remark: It will consume more power if you set the clock display with
dimmer high.

BATTERIJEN AFVOEREN
• Als dit symbool van een afvalbak met een kruis erdoor op een product
staat, betekent dit dat het product onder de Europese richtlijn valt.

apart van de gemeentelijke afvalstroom via hiervoor door de overheid of

AAN DE SLAG
Op de voeding aansluiten
• Sluit het netsnoer op een wandstopcontact aan (wisselstroom 230V ~
50Hz).
• Als u ziet dat de display is ingeschakeld, krijgt de radio stroom en staat
hij in de stand-bymodus.
Back-upsysteem
• De radio is van een back-upsysteem voorzien. Dit vereist een 3 V
lithiumbatterij (type: CR2032). Plaats de batterij in het batterijcompartiment
en controleer of de positieve en negatieve (+ of -) zijden van de batterij
met de betreffende aansluitingen in het batterijcompartiment contact
maken.
• In geval van stroomuitval schakelt de radio automatisch over op
batterijvoeding en blijven de klok- en timerinstellingen behouden.
• Draai voor het openen van het batterijcompartiment de schroef op de
klep van het compartiment met een schroevendraaier los.
• Koppel tijdens het vervangen van de batterij de voedingsadapter niet af.
Anders gaan alle klok- en alarminstellingen verloren.
De tijd instellen
• Druk om de klokinstelmodus te openen vanuit de stand-bymodus op de
knop SET en houd deze ingedrukt.
• De tijd instellen: Druk op de knop BACKWARD om de uren en de knop
FORWARD om de minuten in te stellen.
• Druk op de knop SET om iedere instelling te bevestigen.
De antenne gebruiken
• Rol voor een betere ontvangst van het FM-signaal de antenne volledig af
en leg hem maximaal uit.
Het geluidsvolume regelen
• Druk terwijl u naar de radio luistert op de knop VOL UP of DOWN om het
volume te regelen.
NAAR DE RADIO LUISTEREN
• Druk op de knop POWER om de radio in te schakelen.
• Druk op de knop BACKWARD of FORWARD om de frequentie af te
stellen.
• Druk op de knop BACKWARD of FORWARD en houd deze ingedrukt om
automatisch op het volgende beschikbare FM-station af te stemmen.
• Druk op de knop POWER om de radio uit te schakelen.
Vooraf ingestelde stations instellen
• U kunt maximaal 10 vooraf ingestelde stations opslaan.
• Stem op een station af.
• Druk op de knop MEM/M+ en houd deze ingedrukt tot 'P01' (of de
eerstvolgende beschikbare plaats voor het vooraf in te stellen station) op
de display verschijnt.
• Druk op de knop BACKWARD of FORWARD om een nummer voor het
vooraf in te stellen station te kiezen (P01-P10).
• Druk op de knop SET om te bevestigen. Het vooraf ingestelde station is
ingevoerd.
• Druk om een vooraf ingesteld station te kiezen herhaaldelijk op de knop
MEM/M+ terwijl u naar de radio luistert. U kunt ook een vooraf ingesteld
station kiezen door eenmaal de knop MEM/M+ in te drukken en
vervolgens op de knop BACKWARD of FORWARD te drukken.
DE ALARMEN GEBRUIKEN
Alarmen instellen
• De radio kent 2 alarminstellingen. De alarmen instellen:
• Druk in de stand-bymodus op de knop ALARM 1 of ALARM 2 om de
alarmtijdinstelmodus te openen.
• Druk in de alarminstelmodus herhaaldelijk op de knop ALARM 1 of
ALARM 2 om de instelopties te doorlopen:
Alarmtijd > Alarmgeluidsbron
• De alarmtijd instellen: Druk op BACKWARD om de uren en op
FORWARD om de minuten in te stellen.
• De alarmgeluidsbron instellen: Druk op de knop BACKWARD of
FORWARD om de wekker of de radio als alarmgeluidsbron te kiezen. De
bijbehorende alarmindicator gaat branden.
Let op: Bij instelling op radio zal het alarm het laatst afgestemde
radiostation gebruiken.
De alarmen in- of uitschakelen
• Druk terwijl de kloktijd wordt weergegeven op de knop ALARM 1 of
ALARM 2 om het betreffende alarm in of uit te schakelen. De bijbehorende
Alarm 1 of Alarm 2 indicator (wekker of radio) gaat bij het inschakelen van
het alarm branden.
Een geluidsalarm uitzetten
• Druk op een willekeurige knop ALARM OFF om een geluidsalarm uit te
zetten.
• Als het alarm klinkt, knippert de bijbehorende Alarm 1 of Alarm 2
indicator (wekker of radio) op de display.
Sluimeren
• Druk om een geluidsalarm tijdelijk stil te zetten op de knop SNOOZE. Het
alarm zal na een sluimerperiode (9 minuten) weer afgaan.
• Tijdens de sluimerperiode knippert de bijbehorende Alarm 1 of Alarm 2
indicator (wekker of radio) op de display.
• Druk om de sluimerperiode en het alarm te annuleren op een
willekeurige knop ALARM OFF.
Slapen
• Deze slaapfunctie bepaalt de tijdsduur voordat de radio automatisch
uitschakelt.
• Druk terwijl de radio is ingeschakeld herhaaldelijk op de knop SLEEP om
een slaapperiode te kiezen (opties: Uit, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80 en
90 minuten).
• Na het verstrijken van de slaapperiode schakelt de radio automatisch uit.
• Druk om de resterende tijd voordat de radio uitschakelt te controleren op
de knop SLEEP.
• Druk op de knop POWER om deze functie te annuleren.
DISPLAY
Informatie over de display
• Druk in de radiomodus eenmaal op de knop BACKWARD of FORWARD
om de display kort van de kloktijd naar de huidige radiofrequentie om te
schakelen.
Helderheid van de display
• Druk in de stand-bymodus op de knop DIMMER om de helderheid van
de display (hoog of laag) te wijzigen.
Display aan/uit
• Druk vanuit de stand-bymodus op de knop DISPLAY ON/OFF en houd
deze 2 seconden ingedrukt. 'OFF' verschijnt op de display. De display
schakelt na 10 seconden uit.
• Druk op een willekeurige knop om de display weer 10 seconden in te
schakelen.
• Druk om deze functie uit te schakelen op de knop DISPLAY ON/OFF en
houd deze 2 seconden ingedrukt. 'ON' verschijnt op de display. Hierna
schakelt de display naar de klokmodus terug.
Opmerking: De dimmer van de klokdisplay is standaard op 'laag' ingesteld.
Opmerking: Bij instelling van de dimmer van de klokdisplay op 'hoog' wordt
meer energie verbruikt.

CHIMIQUE
• Ce produit contient une pile-bouton. Si la pile-bouton est avalée, elle peut
causer de graves brûlures en seulement 2 heures et entraîner la mort.
• Conservez les piles neuves et usagées hors de portée des enfants. Si le
compartiment de pile ferme mal, cessez d'utiliser le produit et conservez-le
hors de portée des enfants.
• Si vous pensez que les piles ont pu être avalées ou placées dans une
partie quelconque du corps, faites appel à un médecin.
PRISE EN MAIN
Connexion à l'alimentation électrique
• Connectez le cordon d'alimentation à une prise murale (230V CA ~
50Hz).
• La radio est sous tension et en mode veille lorsque l'affichage s'allume.
Système de sauvegarde
• La radio bénéficie d'un système de sauvegarde. Il nécessite un pile de 3
V au lithium (type: CR2032). Insérez la pile dans le compartiment de pile
et assurez-vous que le positif et le négatif (+ ou -) de la pile sont en
contact avec les bornes correspondantes du compartiment de pile.
• En cas de panne de courant, la radio passe automatiquement à
l'alimentation sur pile et préserve les réglages d'horloge et de minuterie.
• Pour ouvrir le compartiment de pile, utilisez un tournevis afin de détacher
la vis sur la porte du compartiment.
• Pour remplacer la pile, ne déconnectez pas l'adaptateur d'alimentation.
Sinon, tous les réglages d'horloge et d'alarme sont perdus.
Réglage de l’heure
• En mode veille, appuyez sur le bouton RÉGL sans le relâcher pour
passer en mode réglage d'horloge.
• Réglage de l’heure : Appuyez sur le bouton PRÉCÉDENT pour régler les
heures et sur le bouton SUIVANT pour régler les minutes.
• Appuyez sur le bouton RÉGL pour confirmer chaque option de réglage.
Usage de l'antenne
• Déroulez et étendez l'antenne afin d'améliorer la réception du signal FM.
Commande du volume sonore
• Tout en écoutant la radio, appuyez sur le bouton VOL PLUS ou MOINS
pour commander le volume.
ÉCOUTE DE LA RADIO
• Appuyez sur le bouton MARCHE pour allumer la radio.
• Appuyez sur le bouton PRÉCÉDENT ou SUIVANT pour régler la
fréquence.
