2. Charging the internal battery
Although the Ventura can be charged
using the cigarette lighter in your vehicle, a
complete charge is more easily achieved by
using the 240V AC mains charger included.
When new, the battery in your Ventura
contains a nominal charge.
Connect the 240V AC mains charger as
indicated in the picture on the right. The
battery light on the Ventura will illuminate
and will take approximately 3 hours to charge.
When the internal battery is fully charged,
the LED will turn blue. Once fully charged the
battery will last approximately 3 hours during
normal use.
Note: The new battery’s full performance is
only achieved after two or three complete
charges and discharges.
CAUTION
THERE IS A RISK OF EXPLOSION IF THE BATTERY IS REPLACED WITH AN
UNAPPROVED TYPE. USING THE WRONG TYPE OF BATTERY MAY DAMAGE
YOUR UNIT AND INVALIDATE YOUR WARRANTY. ONLY SNOOPER AUTHORISED
PERSONNEL SHOULD REPLACE THE BATTERY. FURTHER INFORMATION CAN BE
FOUND IN THE USER MANUAL.
