INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Caution: if you apply too much pressure to the
juicingcone,themotormaystopworking.
1. Fittheappropriateconeontothedriveshaft.
2. If you wish to collect the juice in the container,
pressthespoutupwardstocloseit.
3. Ifyouwantthejuicetorunstraightintoaglass,
press the spout downwards to open it and place
aglassunderit.
4. Cut a citrus fruit in half and press the cut end
of one fruit half onto the cone. Bring down the
livertopressthefruitoverthecone.Thejuicer
switches on automatically when you press the
fruitdownandtheconestartstoturn.Thejuicer
automatically switches off as soon as you reduce
pressureonthecone.Theconescrapesthepulp
out and squeezes the juice from the fruit. The
juice ows through the strainer into the juice
containerfromwhereitcanrunintoaglass(the
spout must be open). The strainer keeps back
thickpulpandseeds.
5. Tomaximizethequantityofjuiceextractedfrom
afruit,pressafruitontotheconeseveraltimes.
CLEANING
- Unplug the appliance from the mains and let it
coolbeforestartinganycleaning.
- Except for the power unit and the mains
connection, all the parts can be cleaned with
detergent and water or in washing up liquid.
Rinse thoroughly to remove all traces of
detergent.
- Clean the equipment with a damp cloth with a
fewdropsofwashing-upliquidandthendry.
- Donotusesolventssuchasbleach,orabrasive
products,forcleaningtheappliance.
- Donotsubmergetheapplianceinwaterorany
otherliquid,orplaceitunderarunningtap.
- It is advisable to clean the appliance regularly
andremoveanyfoodremains.
- The following parts can be cleaned in the
dishwasher: Cone, Strainer and Middle
container.
JUICING ADVICE
1. Citrus fruit juices should be consumed
immediately and never stored in a metal
container.
2. Citrusjuicesareidealformixing.Forexample,
you can mix orange juice with lemon juice for
extravitaminCkick.
3. Freshly squeezed juice gives cocktails a better
avor. Lemon juice is also delicious in hot tea
andadditionallyhelpsyoubuildupyourdefences
whenyouhaveacold.
