MAKING ESPRESSO COFFEE

powder tightly with the tamper.
2. Setco󰀨eelterintometalfunnel,pullthepressbarbackward,makesurethetubeonthefunnelaligns
withgrooveintheappliance,theninsertthefunnelintotheappliancefromthe“Insert”positionand
releasethepressbar,andyoucanxthemintoco󰀨eemakerrmlythroughturnitanticlockwiseuntilitis
atthe“lock”position.(Seegure1).
3. Pour out the hot water in the cup. Then place the hot cup on removable shelf.
4. Atthetime,thebluelampisilluminated,ifthebluelampisashing,waitforamoment,oncetheblue

Note: Duringoperation,iftheblueindicatorisashing,youmustclosethepumpandstoptomake
espressoco󰀨ee.Afterafewseconds,ifthebluelampisilluminatedagain,youcanmakeespressoco󰀨ee
continuedbypressingco󰀨ee/hotwaterbutton,thebluelampiscycleONandOFFtomaintainthewater
temperature hot enough.
5. Youshouldpressco󰀨ee/hotwaterbuttonmanuallywhendesiredco󰀨eeisobtainedorthecolourofco󰀨ee
changesweakobviously,yourco󰀨eeisreadynow.
WARNING:Donotleavetheco󰀨eemakerunattendedduringmakingtheco󰀨ee,asyouneedoperate
manually!
6. Afternishingmakingtheco󰀨ee,youcantakethemetalfunneloutturninganticlockwise,andthenpour
theco󰀨eeresidueoutwiththesteelmeshpressedbypressbar.

FROTHING MILK / MAKING CAPPUCCINO
You get a cup of cappuccino when you top up a cup of espresso with frothing milk.
Method:
1. Prepareespressorstwithcontainerbigenoughaccordingtothepart“MakingEspressoCo󰀨ee”,make
surethatthesteamcontrolknobisatthe“OFF”position.
2. Pressthesteamswitch,waitingforblueindicatortostopashing.
Note: During operation, if the green indicator is extinguished, you should turn the steam control knob to
anti-clockwisedirection.
3. Fillajugwithabout100gramsofmilkforeachcappuccinotobeprepared,youarerecommendedtouse
whole milk at refrigerator temperature (not hot!).
Note: Inchoosingthesizeofjug,itisrecommendedthatthediameterisnotlessthan70±5mm,andbear
inmindthatthemilkincreasesinvolumeby2times,makesuretheheightofjugisenough.
4. Turnthesteamcontrolknobslowlyinanti-clockwise,steamwillcomeoutfromthefrothingdevice.
Note: Never turn the steam control button rapidly, as the steam will accumulate rapidly in short time
which may increase the potential of the risk of explosion.
5. Insert the frothing device into the milk about two centimetres, froth milk in the way moving vessel round
from up to down.
6. Whentherequiredpurposeisreached,youcanturnthesteamcontrolknobinclockwisedirection.
Note: Clean steam outlet with wet sponge immediately after steam stops generating, but be careful as it
is hot!
7. Pour the frothed milk into the espresso prepared; now the cappuccino is ready. If desired, sprinkle the
froth with a little cocoa powder.
8. Pressthesteamswitchtocutthepowersourceo󰀨.
Note: werecommendyouallowthemachinetocooldownatleastfor5minbeforemakingco󰀨eeagain.
