DIPS
HUMMUS
• Ingredients
1 lemon, halved
400 g canned chickpeas, rinsed, drained
2 garlic cloves, halved
2 tablespoons tahini
1 tablespoon warm water
1 teaspoon ground cumin
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
To garnish:
Extra virgin olive oil
Sweet paprika
Fresh Turkish bread
• Method
1. Squeeze lemon directly into blender jug, using the citrus juicer lid.
2. Add chickpeas, garlic, tahini, water and cumin into blender jug and secure lid
and measuring cap.
3. Process on BLEND / 3 until mixture is smooth. If necessary, scrape down sides of
blender with plastic spatula after turning off and unplugging the blender. Sea-
son to taste.
4. Transfer to a bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with paprika. Serve with Tur-
kish bread.
• Tip
If dip is a little too thick when blending, add a little extra water.
