SOLIS CAFFISSIMA IQ DIGITAL
Your Solis Caffissima IQ Digital coffee grinder is equipped with
hardened stainless steel conical burrs and can effortlessly grind
whole coffee beans for all kinds of coffee varieties resp. ways of
preparation, from the finest grind size setting for espresso to the
coarsest grind size sitting for a coffee from the French Press / coffee
press.
You can simply adjust the amount of shots for espresso (SHOTS) or
cups for coffee (CUPS) with the SHOTS / CUPS button, the selected
number is shown in the display.
For all coffee varieties, the amount of coffee powder is con-
trolled by a digital timer. Additionally, the amount can be individ-
ually adjusted for each way of preparation by turning the GRIND
AMOUNT controller, setting the operation time of the grinder.
Once you have found ideal amount for yourself, you can save
this most recent grinding time as well as the number of cups for
future uses by pressing and holding the PROGRAM button. You
can grind directly into the portafilter resp. into a storage container
or a coffee filter.
For every individual brewing method there is a wide range of grind
size settings available, regardless of whether you make your
espresso with an espresso machine or an espresso cooker resp.
your coffee in a French Press or a classical filter coffee maker. The
grind size range is differently defined for each brewing method, as
each brewing method requires a certain grind size for the optimal
extraction of the coffee. Your Solis coffee grinder puts you in the
comfortable situation of being able to select from a multitude of
grind sizes even within a certain brewing method, allowing you to
realize your personal preferences. You can choose from a total of
60 grind sizes by turning the GRIND SIZE controller. The display
shows the chosen setting on the grind size bar and also as a digi-
tally indicated figure.
33. Do not operate the grinder for longer than 2 minutes as this
might cause overheating. Allow the grinder to cool down for
20 minutes after extended use before using it again.
34. Do not place any objects on the appliance.
35. Unwind the power cord fully before plugging the plug into
the socket.
36. Pull the plug after every use. Only then, the appliance is fully
switched off.
37. Oils or lubricants must not be used with this appliance.
38. Always pull the plug before taking the lid off the bean hopper
or removing the entire bean hopper from the appliance.
