Check the following guide for the possible cause of a problem before contacting service.
Symptom
Player will not turn on.
Disc will not play.

Cause
• AC line cord not connected.

CD Compartment not closed.
• Disc inserted incorrectly.
• Dirty or defective disc.
• Moisture condensation on
disc.
• Dirty or defective disc.
• Player is subject to
vibrations or physical shock.
• Laser lens is dirty.
• Volume is set to minimun.
• Defactive disc.
• Power is not on.
• Volume is set to minimun.
• Disconnect LINE IN jack.
Correction
• Check AC line cord connecting.
• Close CD Compartment.
• Reinsert disc correctly.
• Try another disc.
• Wipe disc with soft cloth.
• Clean or replace disc.
• Change the installation location.
•
Clean using a quality laser lens
cleaner.
• Increase volume.
• Try another disc.
• Turn power on.
• Increase volume.
• LINE IN jack is connected.
