1. Open the battery door with a screwdriver (A). 2. If used
batteries are present, remove these batteries from the unit
by pulling up on one end of each battery. DO NOT remove
or install batteries using sharp or metal tools.
3. Install new batteries as shown in the polarity diagram
(+/-) inside the battery compartment (B) . 4. Replace battery
door securely (C) . 5. Check your local laws and regulations
for correct recycling and/or battery disposal.
HO W T O FL Y Y OUR HELIX X4 STUNT™
1. T ur n on Helix X4 STUNT™ and
place on a stable surf ace . 2. Switch
Controller to either NO VICE or
EXPER T mode. 3. Once it is on a
stable surf ace the Helix X4 STUNT™
LED will tur n solid or ange indicating
that it is calibrating. Once calibration is
complete it will star t blinking while
looking f or your Controller . 4. When it

red if EXPER T) until the throttle is
‘armed’. 5. T o ‘ar m’/enable the throttle ,
mov e the left stick to the minimum
position. 6. The LED on the Controller

throttle is enabled and y ou are ready
to fly . 7. If the LED on Helix X4
STUNT™ blinks or ange, the battery is low . Recharge Helix
X4 STUNT™ when this happens. 8. If the red charge LED
on controller star ts to blink, replace the AA batteries.

USING USB CABLE:
1. T ur n off the Helix X4 STUNT™.
2. Attach USB cable to computer (A).
3. Carefully plug the USB cable into the
Helix X4 STUNT™ (B) . 4. Charge light
on the USB cable will be solid RED (C) .
5. When fully charged USB light tur ns off .

on. If nor mal operation does not resume , move the product to

the LiP o rechargeable battery used in your Helix X4 STUNT™. Do
not use it to charge any battery other than that in the quadcopter .
Y our Helix X4 STUNT™ is equipped with a Lithium Pol ymer
battery . SPECIAL LiPo B A TTER Y INSTRUCTIONS: Ne ver charge
batter y unattended. - Charge battery in an isolated area. Keep
aw a y from flammable materials. - Do not e xpose to direct sunlight.
There is a risk of the batter ies e xploding, overheating, or igniting.
- Do not disassemble , modify , heat, or shor t circuit the batter ies . Do
not place them in fires or leav e them in hot places. - Do not drop or
subject to strong impacts. - Do not allow the batteries to get wet.
- Only charge the batteries with the specified Spin Master™ batter y
charger . - Only use the batter ies in the de vice specified by Spin
Master . - Carefully read the instr uction guide and use the batteries
correctly . - In the unlikely ev ent of leakage or explosion use sand or
a chemical fire e xtinguisher for the battery . - Batteries must be
recycled or disposed of properly .
Note: - P arental guidance is recommended when installing or
replacing batteries. - Under the environment with electrostatic
discharge, the to y may malfunction and require user to reset
the to y .
Special Note to Adults: - Regularly examine f or damage to the
plug, enclosure and other par ts. In the ev ent of any damage, the
to y must not be used with the controller until the damage has been

- This toy must only be used with the recommended controller .
Care and Maintenance: - Alwa ys remove batteries from the to y
when it is not being used f or a long period of time (controller/
charger only). - Wipe the toy gently with a clean damp cloth. - K eep
the to y aw ay from direct heat. - Do not submerge the toy in w ater .
This can damage the electronic assemblies .
PERFORMING STUNTS
a CAUTION: Never fly near your face. Keep rotor away
from your fingers, hair, eyes and other body parts. Always
lift off from a flat surface. Never hold the flying heli in your
hand when lifting off. DO NOT launch heli near people or
animals. Stay away from obstacles and electrical hazards.
NOTE: If any part on Helix X4 STUNT™
is broken,
repair with tape. If repair is not made, performance will
be affected.
NOTE: Stunts cannot be performed if helicopter is not fully
charged and flying in a straight stable direction.
Always perform stunts in a wide-open area free of
obstacles. Immediately after the stunt is performed, throttle
needs to be applied quickly and carefully to compensate for
the manoeuver required for the stunt, to restore balance and
prevent loss of control and a possible crash on the ground
or into items in the room.

batter y is f actor y installed, product disassembly and battery
remov al must be performed by an adult. Do not use any tools for
disassembly . Pulling, tearing, and deforming of the product dur ing
disassembly , while necessar y , should be as limited as possible. Do
not compress the product at any time . Ensure product is tur ned off .
Find a point where the two body halv es meet; the nose of the
aircraft or where the wing meets the body . Star t to peel the halves
apar t, separating them where the y are glued together ; remove an y
tape as necessar y . Separate product body halves to e xpose
internal electronics. T o separate battery from product use scissors
to cut a single batter y wire , immediately wrap the cut wire end with
tape to isolate it, repeat until all batter y wires are cut and isolated.
Dispose of batter y in accordance with y our local batter y recycling
or disposal laws . NO TE: Opening of product and/or remov al of
batter y will render product inoperativ e and voids manuf acturer
warranties , dispose of remaining product components in
accordance with local laws .

USING CONTROLLER:
1. Switch Helix X4 STUNT™
and Controller to “OFF”.
2. Remove charge plug
from Controller storage
compartment. 3. Insert
charge plug into Helix X4
STUNT™. 4. Switch
Controller to NOVICE or EXPERT position. RED
charge light turns ON when charging. 5. RED and
GREEN lights turn on when Helix X4 STUNT™ is
fully charged. Once charged, remove the charging
wire and store back in the Controller. NOTE: Red
power light flashes when batteries are weak and
should be replaced.
