3. For a quick estimate, walk 3 s teps, measure the distance, and divide by 3. The
more s teps youtak e, the more ac curate and r ealistic your stride will be. An av erage

compartment door . Unscr ew the battery c ompartment door with a small Phillips
scre wdriver .
2. Removethe exhaustedbattery fr om theunit, andinsert a n ew batt ery (besure to
placethepositive(+)sideofthebatteryf acingup).
3. Replacethebatteryc ompartmentcoverandfastenwiththescr ew .
4. Replacethespringclipbackintoposition.

4. Pr ess theMODE button on y our Activity T racker until the S YNC screen is sho wn.
Aashinglinewillbeshownonthescr eentoindicatethatitisreadytoupl oaddata.
5. Pr ess the S YNC button on the MapMyW alk™ application and y our data will be
uploaded. If the Activity T r acker does not successfull y upl oad after a short period,
it will time out, and def ault back to the STEPS scr een. At this point, you will need
to navigate backto the S YNC scr een onthe Activity T r acker and tryuploading again
throughtheapplication.
