Note:

• You may simultaneously select an ACCOMP track with a MELODY track, but you cannot select 2

MELODY tracks at the same time.

•MELODY1isautomaticallysettocurrenttrackwhileitisinwaitingmode.IftherstMELODYincludes

data, the second MELODY is set to record automatically.

• If the selected track already includes data, it’s corresponding cursor is lit up on the LCD. Press the

track button while it is in waiting mode. The cursor on the LCD will switch itself off. Press the track

buttonagain.Itscursorwillash,indicatingthatthetrackisopenedforrecording.

2. Starting to record

You can start to record by playing the keyboard and pressing the « START / STOP » button. Four beats

ashinturn,followingthecurrenttempo.

Any recorded data contained in the current track will be replaced with new data as recording begins. Du-

ring recording, you can start or stop the (rhythm) style by pressing the « START / STOP » button twice.

1. Stop Automatically

Press the « ENDING » button when the style is playing during recording. Recording will stop automati-

callyafteryounishplaying.

Ifstoragecapacityislledduringrecording,thepianowillstoprecordingautomaticallywhiledisplaying

« Full Record Data! » on LCD.

2. Stop Manually

Press the « RECORD » button again during recording to stop recording immediately. The cursor of the

recorded track will appear on the LCD.

Press the « DEMO » button during recording to stop recording and enter DEMO

mode. Recorded data will not be lost. The cursor of the recorded track will appear

on the LCD.
