Do not use the heater in rooms with explosive gas or while using inflammable solvents or varnish
or glues.
If the cordset is damaged and y ou hav e to change it, do not do the job yourselves! Take the

in order to avoid any risk of danger.
When portable, do not use this heater close to showers, baths, swimming pool s.
The appliance must be positioned so t hat the plug is always accessible.
Do not mount the product on walls made of synthetic material.
3. Wall mounting
Only fix the heater in vertical position with the air outlet gr id downw ord;
This heater is fitt ed with a double el ectrical insulation circu it (class II) and therefore does not
require an earth connection .
When wall mounted, the heater is water resistant to IPX4. It can therefore be used in bathrooms
or othe r areas subject to humidity as long a s it i s not installe d within the perimeter of bath tubs or
showers. This means that it cannot be installed in the areas marked as VOLUME 1 in figure 1.
It must never be possible for pe ople in the bath tub or shower to reach the adjustmen t knobs.
This heater must be correctly installed in compliance with the regulati ons in force in the country of
installation.
IMPORTANT FOR FRANC E:
If the product is to b e wall mounted the electrical connection to the power supply must be done
by cutting off the plug supplied and using a suitable terminal as per the diagram shown below:
In wet spa ces like bath rooms or kitc hens, the co nnection terminal must be installed at least 25
cm above the floor. The electrical connection to th e power supply must also be fitted with a two-
pole switch w ith a minimum gap between the contacts that allows complete disconnection
according to excess voltage III category conditions.
Mount the heater on the wall making sure to observe the minimum distances from th e ceiling,
floor and other walls, as shown in picture 4;
To proceed with the installation:
Drill four 6 mm diameter holes in the wall, as shown in picture 5. A drill pattern is provided to
help you marking the correct position of the holes;
Insert the four wall plugs supplied with the product;
Fix the upper and the lower brackets as shown in picture 6;
Hang the product to the upper bracket and then hook it up to the lower bracket untill you ear a
“click” as shown in picture 7.
4. Portable use
I f you want to use the fan heater as portable you have to ex tract the foot placed on the back of
the appliance as shown in picture 8. Just pull it un til you ear a “click” and check that the foot is
firmly locked in its extracetd position.
5. Using the fan heater
T he heater is fitted with a switch and an ambient thermostat as show n in picture 9.
T he switch is used to control heater’s functioning selecting the off condition, cold air ventilation,
warm air (1000W) or hot air (1800W ).
The heater is also equiped with an alarm light (picture 10) that switches on in c ase of
overheting/malfunctioning. It is not a func tioning light and, consequentely, it will not switch on
during normal functioning.
Do not put anything on the heater to avoid any overheating/malfunctioning both in portable use
(picture 11) or fixed installation (picture 4).
Using the thermostat
In a room with a temperature exceeding 30°C, the thermostat does not turn on the fan heater
even if it is at maximum.
Vice-versa, in a room with a very low temperature (below 5°C), it is normal that the thermostat
keeps the heater const antly on, even if it is at minimum.
To optimise use of the thermos tat, proceed as follows:
- turn the thermostat knob to maximum and wait until a co mfortable temperature is reached;
- then turn the thermostat knob anti-clockwise until you hear a “click” and the heater t urns off;
- turn the thermostat knob clockwise just a little;
- in this position, the the rmostat will maintain the selected ambient temperature.
6. Filter
T his product is fitted with a filter to protect the he ating element from dust and dirt.
The filter is removable to be ea sily cleaned with water.
To remove the filter just unlock the tab by p ressing on it and pull towards you as shown in picture
12.
To keep the heater in perfect con dition, clean the filter once every six months REMEMBERING
TO PUT IT BACK AGAIN AFTERWARDS.
7. Troubleshooting
In the event of overheating, the safety device on the appliance automatically disabled the heating
elements and motor. As a result, the heater stops working and the alarm lig ht switches on. In this
case:
- Turn off the fan heater and allow it to cool down for about 15/20 minutes.
- Make sure the dust filter is not totally obstructed and clean if necessary. Remember to put it
back again afterwards.
- Eliminate any other possible reasons for overheating (e.g.: obstructions in f ront of the air
inlet/outlet grilles, build-up s of dirt).
- Turn on the fan heater again and check it works correctly.
