8.3.3 Update Settings

This item allows you to control the automated channel list update and software update to a certain extend.

Select the settings that are most convenient for you. Or just keep the general default settings.

Auto Channel Numbering (LCN)

Options are: On, Off. If set to On, the channel list will be loaded in a provider defined order.

Auto Channel Update in Standby mode

Options are: On, Off.

Auto Channel Update in Operate mode

Options are: On, Off.

Auto Channel Update Repetition

Options are: Daily, Weekly

Auto Channel Update Time

Select a time, to do the channel update automatically, like at night.

Time Settings

Set up your time zone for clock/time in your menu and system.

GMT Usage: Set to Auto for broadcaster defined time depending of country selection you’ve made in

the First Installation Wizard. Normally, the clock/time will be correct and also follow up the

summer time changes automatically. In this case select the option User Define to set up time

manually in the next step below. In an unlikely case the timekeeping is not correctly sent by

the broadcaster, select Off to enter Date and Time freely.

GMT Offset: Allows you to adjust the time zone you live in. This option is only available when GMT Usage

is set to User Define. The GMT Offset range is “--12:00 ~ +12:00”.

Summer Time: Daylight Saving Time. Select Off or On to add one hour extra for summer time.

Date Use the 0~9 and/or t u buttons to enter the date.

8.3.4 Parental Control

The menu allows you to protect the installation menu and/or channels with a PIN code. You can also create a

new PIN code. You will be asked to enter your PIN code.

Channel Lock: You can select the lock separately for every channel which you like to protect it with a PIN

code in the TV or Radio Manager menu. If the lock is set in the TV or Radio Manager menu,

the channel lock item changes to On. You can override the all locks with Off, You can select

the lock separately for every channel which you like to protect it with a PIN code.

Age Limit: Choose between: View All, Lock All, 4 years Old and up to 18 years Old. Channels with a

parental rating above the chosen age will be protected with a PIN code (if available in your

local broadcast.)

PIN Code Change: Press OK to enter the sub menu.

New PIN Code: Enter your new PIN code (4 digits) you’d like to use.

Confirm: Re-enter your new PIN code to confirm. Press OK to end and save the change

HINT: Make note of it.
