THERAPEUTIC LOW HEA T
Unlike traditional heating pads, your Renue™ Back & Body Warming Pad is designed
to provide a low-level therapeutic heat over an extended period of time . When used
as intended – on a chair or on a bed – it will give off consistent and soothing low
heat, providing therapeutic relief from aches and pains. The heat this pad generates
can best be experienced by seating or lying on top of the product.
SET -UP & USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
Y our Renue™ Back & Body W arming Pad is designed to be
used on a chair or on bed for a continuous heat therapy . It
provides relief from aches and pains by giving off consistent
low level, soothing heat while you work or relax. This pad
can also be used as a proactive heat therapy – to reduce
stress and tension before it hurts!
FOR USE ON A CHAIR:
1. Place the Renue™ Back & Body Pad on a chair , with
softer fleece fabric facing out. The cord connector
should be on the right side of the chair's seat, and the
two loop holes for straps should be at the top corners
of the chair’ s back (Figure 1) .
2. Secure the pad on the chair with provided flexible
Velcro straps (Figures 2a-b) . Depending on personal
preference and the size and type of chair , the
orientation of the straps may change . Place the straps
in a way that allows the pad to be attached securely to
the chair while still being comfortable to sit on.
3. As an optional feature , your Renue™ Back & Body
pad can be rolled up for lumbar support, allowing for
added comfort throughout the day . Just roll up the
seat portion of the pad and secure with the Velcro
strip on the underside of the pad (Figure 3) .
4. Make sure Control Connector is securely attached to
the Pad Connector (Figure 4) . Push both parts together
until they click for a tight fit.
NOTE: Control must be connected to heating pad
before plugging unit into outlet.
5. After control is connected to pad, plug into 120V AC
electrical outlet. For convenience , the pad featur es a
snap that can be used to keep cord & controller handy ,
but out of the way (Figure 5) .
NOTE: T o avoid any tangling or pinching, do not tuck in
the cord between chair’ s seat and back or arms.
6. T o turn the pad on, press the Power Button. Then
select from 4 heat settings by scrolling to the desired
setting with the Power Button from "warm" to "high"
(Figure 6).
7. T o turn the pad OFF , scroll through the remaining heat
settings by pressing the Power Button sequentially
until no lights remain lit.
AUTO-OFF FEA TURE
Y our pad controller includes an Auto-Off feature . This feature is designed to conserve
energy by automatically turning off after 8 hours of continuous use .
NOTE: After a power outage, the Auto-Off feature automatically resets the timer .
CARE AND CLEANING
BEFORE WASHING OR STORING Y OUR HEA TED PRODUCT :
1. Disconnect power cord from wall BEFORE detaching control cor d from the
heated product.
2. Ensure that no cords are still connected to the pad and none of the wires have
worn through the fabric of the pad.
3. Carefully follow all washing instructions or your Renue™ Back & Bod y pad
may shrink and/or cause a fire hazard.
•DO NO T submerge control in water .
•DO NOT dry clean your heated product. Dry cleaning solvents may damage the wires.
•DO NO T use bleach or cleaning fluids.
•DO NO T use a wringer .
•DO NO T iron your heated product.
•DO NO T use mothballs or sprays of any kind.
•DO NO T reconnect the heated product or use it until it is COMPLETEL Y dry .
•DO NO T wash or put into water the po wer cord or any of the product’ s cords.
T aking care of your Renue™ Back & Body Pad is easy as long as you follow a few
simple steps.
MACHINE WASHING
1. Presoak the pad for 15 minutes in mild soap and lukewarm water .
2. Wash in mild soap and lukew arm water on the “delicate” or “gentle” cycle in
the washer for two minutes. Remember , do not use bleach.
3. Rinse in fresh, lukewarm water .
4. Spin dry in the washing machine . Then gently str etch to its original size .
MACHINE DRYING
CAUTION: Do not use commercial dryers or the dryers at your local laundromat. They
get too hot and will damage the wiring of the heated product.
1. Preheat the dryer on the “lo w” temper ature setting for 2 minutes.
2. Place pad into the dryer . Remove the pad while it is still damp, then gently
stretch pad to its original size .
3. Drape pad over a clothesline or a shower rod. DO NO T use clothespins.
4. Pad must be COMPLETEL Y dry before reconnecting the power plug or control
plug.
HAND WASHING
1. Presoak the pad for 15 minutes in mild soap and lukewarm water .
2. Gently squeeze the soap suds through a few times.
3. Rinse in fresh, lukewarm water .
HAND DRYING
1. Gently stretch the pad back to its original size .
2. Drape over a clothesline or hang over a shower rod. DO NO T use clothespins.

Pad must be COMPLETEL Y dry before reconnecting the power plug or control plug.

date of purchase, this product will be free from defects in material and workmanship. JCS, at its option, will repair or replace
this product or any component of the product found to be defective during the warranty period. Replacement will be made
with a new or remanufactured product or component. If the product is no longer available, replacement may be made with a
similar product of equal or greater value. This is your exclusive warranty . Do NOT attempt to repair or adjust any electrical or
mechanical functions on this product. Doing so will void this warranty . This warranty is valid for the original retail purchaser
from the date of initial retail purchase and is not transferable. Keep the original sales receipt. Proof of purchase is required to
obtain warranty performance. JCS dealers, service centers, or retail stores selling JCS products do not have the right to alter ,
modify or any way change the terms and conditions of this warranty. This warranty does not cover normal wear of parts or
damage resulting from any of the following: negligent use or misuse of the product, use on improper voltage or current, use
contrary to the operating instructions, disassembly , repair or alteration by anyone other than JCS or an authorized JCS service
center . Further , the warranty does not cover: Acts of God, such as fire, flood, hurricanes and tornadoes.
What are the limits on JCS’s Liability?
JCS shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages caused by the breach of any express, implied or statutory
warranty or condition. Except to the extent prohibited by applicable law , any implied warranty or condition of merchantability
or fitness for a particular purpose is limited in duration to the duration of the above warranty.
JCS disclaims all other warranties, conditions or representations, express, implied, statutory or otherwise. JCS shall not be
liable for any damages of any kind resulting from the purchase, use or misuse of, or inability to use the product inc luding
incidental, special, consequential or similar damages or loss of profits, or for any breach of contract, fundamental or

FOR USE ON A BED:
1. The Renue™ Back & Body pad can be placed on top
of or underneath a fitted sheet.
2. Place the pad on a bed in the position that best allows
heat to target the affected area of aches or pains.
The softer fleece fabric should be facing up (Figure 7) .
3. Make sure Control Connector is securely attached to
the Pad Connector (Figure 4) . Push both parts together
until they click for a tight fit.
NOTE: Control must be connected to heating pad
before plugging unit into outlet.
4. After control is connected to pad, plug into 120V AC
electrical outlet.
5. Run the control cord on the floor under the bed.
T o avoid any tangling or pinching, do not sandwich
cord between the mattress and box spring. For your
convenience , the pad featur es a snap that can be used
to keep the cord & controller handy , but out of the way .
6. T o turn the pad on, press the Power Button. Then
select from 4 heat settings by scrolling to the desired
setting with the Power Button from "warm" to "high"
(Figure 6).
