• Only connect the appliance to an approved, correctly installed plug socket. Do not use any multi-plug adaptors or
extension leads.
• The voltage annotated on the appliance label must correspond to your mains supply voltage.
• When using the appliance, ensure that the electricity cable cannot be tripped over.
• Keep the appliance, the electricity cable and the plug away from hot surfaces, open flames and sharp edges. When
using the appliance, ensure that the cable does not become wedged (e.g. in doors, etc.).
• Never touch the appliance, the electricity cable or the plug with damp or wet hands.
• Never immerse the appliance, the mains cable or the electricity plug in water or other liquids. There is a danger of
electric shocks!
• When unplugging the mains connection, always unplug it using the plug, never the cable.
• The appliance is only suitable for the cleaning of dry indoor surfaces. Do not use the appliance outdoors or on wet
surfaces.
• Do not use the appliance near to heat sources or open fires.
• Do not leave the appliance unsupervised whilst it is switched on or whilst it is connected to the electricity supply.
• Do not point the appliance at people or animals. Danger of injury!
• Whilst using the appliance, ensure that hair, loose clothing or parts of the body are kept away from the appliance’s
opening or moving parts.
