CLEANING AND CARE

The appliance is equipped with a drop-stop system which makes it possible to take some coffee while it is being
made. The glass carafe must, however, immediately be placed corr
ectly underneath the filter in order to prevent an
overflowing of the filter.
• Wait to remove the carafe after the water has run through until the remaining water has moved through the filter
into the carafe.
• To keep your coffee warm, leave the glass carafe on the warming plate. The warming plate will remain warm for as
long as the appliance is turned on.
• Remove the plug from the outlet when the appliance is not in use.
Aroma Selection Switch
With the aroma selection switch, you can use when of the following settings, according to your taste:

Warning:
Always remove the plug from the outlet and let the appliance cool down completely before cleaning.
• The appliance, the cable and the plug may not be immersed in water for cleaning. Clean these with a dry cloth.
• In the case of heavy soiling, the exterior of the appliance can be carefully wiped with a damp cloth and carefully
dried afterwards. Make sure that no moisture gets inside the appliance near the controls and the warming plate.
• Do not use any harsh cleaning products, wire brushes, scouring powders or any other hard objects for cleaning that
could scratch the surface.
• The removable accessories, such as the glass carafe and the filter holder, can be cleaned in the sink with a mild
detergent (not intended for dish washers).
