IMPORTANT SAFETY ADVICE
• Please check the oven before first use and before
each start-up as well as inspecting the connection
cables for possible damage.
• Children do not recognise the dangers that can
be created by improper contact with electric appli-
ances. Therefore children should not be allowed to
use the appliance should without supervision.
• The appliance should only be connected to an
approved plug socket which has been correctly
installed and earthed. The supply voltage must
correspond to that which is annotated on the
appliance label.
• Never immerse the appliance, the mains cable or
the electricity plug in water or other liquids.
• The open heating elements should not be touched.
• Place the appliance on a sufficiently stable and
heat-resistant surface and protect the oven from
moisture.
• Ensure that neither the appliance nor the connection
cable is exposed to external heat. Do not place the
appliance next to other heat sources.
• The electricity cable must never be placed close to
or touching the appliance’s hot surfaces, other heat
source or sharp edges.
• Do not place or lay objects on top of the oven and
ensure that a minimum 10 cm gap exists at each
side of the appliance in order to guarantee sufficient
air-circulation.
• Repairs and exchanges of the electricity cable
should only be carried out by authorised technicians.
• If the oven is in use, the door and exterior
surfaces may become very hot. Only touch
the handles and switches. Use oven gloves
as necessary.
• Do not use water in order to smother burning food
or appliance partse. Put out the fire with a damp
cloth. Unplug the mains connection imme-
diately!
• Do not use the appliance under wall closets, shelves
or near to burnable materials like blinds, curtains etc..
• In the event of (possible) damage the appliance
should not be utilised until it has been repaired by
a technician.
• Never disassemble the appliance yourself. Take it
to an authorised repair shop.
• Do not use the oven outdoors. The oven is only to
be used for the specified purposes.
• The appliance is designed for household use only
and is not for industrial utilisation.
• Use oven gloves when removing hot food. Ensure
that your face and hands are kept clear of the oven
door during opening in order to avoid burning from
steam and effervescence.
• Please be aware that claims for possible damages
cannot be honoured by us in the event of false use
or misappropriation.
• Never use force when operating the toaster oven.
If parts of the appliance cannot be operated without
the use of force, a technician should be consulted.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
The mode selector (“MODE”) allows you to set the
upper and lower heaters. If the switch is placed on
the symbol , electricity will only be supplied to the
lower heater. If the switch is placed on the symbol ,
both elements heat up.
