LOGGING A HANDSET ON TO THE

SWATCH CORDLESS II BASE STATION

1. On the base station, press

for 5

seconds.

2. In the menu "System settings" –

"Log on" – "On base sta-

tion", prepare the handset for

logging on.

3. Specify the internal subscriber number

(1–6) "Handset 1-6".

4. Specify the base station designation

(A–D). The handset will then prompt

you to enter the system PIN (default

setting: ”0000”).

5. OK

GENERATION

(GAP)

1. Press the paging key on the first-

generation base station for approx. 10

seconds until you hear the log-on

tone.

2. In the menu "System settings" –

"Log on" – "On other sys-

tem", prepare the handset for logging

on.

3. Specify the base station designation

(A–D).

4. Enter the four-digit base station

authorisation code (system code)

(default setting: "0000").

5. OK

Note:

The base station assigns the handset’s in-

ternal number automatically. If log-on has

been successfully completed, the display

should indicate the base station letter (e.g.

A).

If log-on process was unsuccessful, an er-

ror tone is heard and the letter A flashes.

SAFETY NOTES

• Warning!

Only use approved nickel-cadmium

(NiCd) batteries or nickel-metal hybrid

(NiMH) batteries.

Do not use batteries/primary

cells.

Using other battery cell types or non-

rechargeable batteries/primary cells

can be dangerous and also lead to

malfunctions of and/or damage to the

set. Understandably, Swatch AG

cannot assume any liability in such

cases.

• Make sure your handset is pro-

grammed for the type of batteries

used.

• Make sure the battery cells are fitted

the right way round (correct polarity).

• Battery cells

– Do not dip in water

– Do not throw into the fire.

• Do not use third-party charging

stations as they may damage the

battery cells.

• Notice for hearing-aid users:

Before using the Swatch Cordless II

Comfort, hearing-aid users should be

aware that radio signals interfere with

hearing aids and can cause an

unpleasant humming noise if suffi-

ciently loud.
