Congratulaons to your new Smart home device, swisstone

SH 520. This Smart Wi-Fi PIR (passive infrared) moon sensor

detects and reports movement within its detecon range.

Aer an easy installaon, you can check the sensor’s status,

baery level, alarm record and even receive push noca-

ons of movement to your smart phone.

1. Install the KAFO app

Download and install the app KAFO from Google Play or App

Store on your smartphone.

Compable devices

• Android version 4.1 and later

• iOS version 9.0 and later

• 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network

2. Register/login on the KAFO APP

When rst opening the KAFO app, select to

a new

account or

if you already have an account.

Note! Be sure to remember the username and

password for later use with Amazon Echo or

Google Home integraon.

4. Placement

• Place the sensor indoors at a temperature between

-10 and 45 °C.

• Its angle of detection from above, the sides and below

is 60°.

• The sensor must be placed in a location with a clear

view of the monitored area and the windows.

• The distance from the sensor to a fireplace or a stove

must be at least four meters.

• Most favourable placement of the sensor is in a corner

of the room, closest to the ceiling, as the sensor reacts

optimally to crosswise movement.

• The sensor must be reachable for battery replacement

and maintenance.

• Place the sensor free of curtains and other obstacles.

5. Mounting

1. Open the casing of the sensor by turning the

backside of the sensor counter-clockwise.

2. Insert 2 x CR123A baeries respecng the polaries.

3. Check that the indicator LED ash quickly. If not,

press the reset buon for about 5 second.

4. Close the casing of the sensor by replacing and

turning the backside clockwise.

5. Fix the mounng bracket to a wall or ceiling using

screws or double-sided mounng tape.

6. Place the sensor in the mounng bracket.

6. Add device, Smart Setup Option

Note! Your mobile device must be connected to the same

Wi-Fi network as your SH 520 should be connected to.

Please also note that SH 520 only supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi

networks.

1. Mount the SH 520 according previous descripon. The

sensor must be within the Wi-Fi network range. Avoid

placing the SH 520 near potenal sources of radio signal

interference.

2. In the KAFO app, click

Add

Device

or + in the upper right

corner to add this new device.

3. Select the device type

PIR

Sensor

4. Make sure the light blinks

quickly, then click

Conrm

indiacor rapidly blink

. If not,

open the case, press the Reset

buon for about 5 seconds.

5. Select the same Wi-Fi your phone is connected to and

enter the password for that Wi-Fi, then click

Home_network

6. When the app and the device

have found each other, click

to rename the device to

a suitable unique name, e.g.

“Front door”.

7. When ready, click

Done

add the found device to the

device list in the app.

You can also click

Share to family

to share the device with your

family. Enter their KAFO account

to share the device control.

in the upper right corner to view and modify

the device sengs:

Modify Device Name

: to change the device name. If

you for instance move the plug it can be good to have

a matching name.

Device sharing

: to share the device with other KAFO

accounts.

•

Device info

: detailed information about the device.

•

Create Group

: group this device with other devices.

•

Echo

: pairing instructions for Amazon Echo (Alexa).

•

Google Home

: pairing instructions for Google Home.

•

Send Feedback

: send feedback to the developers

•

Check for Firmware Update

: for keeping the device

updated with the latest improvements.

•

Remove Device

: remove the device paring.
