Besides programs for cycling, free training is also possible. You can set the routes manually.
Moreover, at the end of the training you can save the results of the program you rode.
Free cycling
During free training, the diagram will be
different than during a riding program. At the
top right there will be a settings menu in which
the route can be changed using the ARROW
KEYS. When a route setting is changed, the
brake unit will respond immediately and the
roll resistance will adjust. If no changes are
made within 10 seconds, the Cosmos will
automatically create a new route. You can
terminate the program by pressing. A window
will open with the question as to whether you
want to terminate the training session. After
confirmation of the termination procedure, the
training session will end. After stopping, you
can store the new program under NEW
PROGRAM, or you can chose not to save
the performance results.

Training with the Cosmos
Histogram Cyclist's position
A histogram at the bottom of the screen enables you to monitor the progress of the program
and the position of the opponents. The name of the rider and the opponent and the
distance/time covered is given at the left of the histogram. At the right is the total distance
remaining. There are three different options.
Cycling without an Opponent
At the bottom of the screen a histogram will appear, which fills up slowly from left to right.
Cycling with a single Opponent
Two histograms will appear, which fill up. The top histogram (white) represents the user.
The bottom histogram (yellow) represents the opponent. Based on this visual representation,
you can measure your performance against that of your opponent. The difference in metres
between the cyclists is shown at the right behind the opponent's histogram. If the user is ahead,
the figure will be green with a minus sign; when behind, the figure will be red.
Cycling with 2,3,4 or 5 Opponents
The coloured boxes represent the cyclists. (see explanation opponents) The box of the leader
will be at the far right. During the run, you can immediately see the mutual changes in positions.
The difference in metres between the opponents and the user will be visible in the coloured
boxes.
