Please read, follow and save this instruction manual. Before using your vacuum cleaner for the

first time, charge the accumulator during approximately 16 hours. A fully charged accumulator

will give approximately 10 to 12 minutes vacuum cleaning.

UK STYLE PLUG WIRING INSTRUCTIONS (IN THE UK ONLY)

This product must only be used from a 13 amp power socket.

The plug is also a transformer for the battery charging system, and is not a home serviceable

item. Do not use if the plug/transformer has been damaged in any way.

FITTING THE WALL-MOUNTING BRACKET

Fit the plug of the charger into the wall bracket and then turn 90° to lock it in position (see

Figure 1). The wall bracket is now ready for storing and for recharging your vacuum cleaner.

MOUNTING THE WALL-MOUNTING BRACKET (see Figure 2)

Select a point in the vicinity of a wall socket, indoors and not subject to damp. Position the

bracket against the wall placing the open part to the top and mark the points at which the

fastening screws are to be inserted. Using a 5 mm diameter drill, drill two holes, insert the plastic

plug. Then screw in the screws until only the last 5 mm is still protruding.

Then hang the bracket on the screws, and tighten the screws up to their full extent. Check that

the cable is not pinched. It should pass through one of the recesses in the wall bracket.

CHARGING THE VACUUM CLEANER

The adaptor should only be connected to a 230V, 50Hz power supply.

Caution: The charger and its cord cannot be repaired. Should they be damaged, they must be

thrown out. Contact the customer service to replace them. Put the plug into a 230V wall

socket and insert the vacuum cleaner in the bracket (the handle should be at the bottom).

The charging indicator will come on which means that the vacuum cleaner is correctly

positioned and that the recharging will start. The charging indicator remains lit, even when the

accumulator is fully recharged.

You can keep your vacuum cleaner in its charging holder during long periods, there will be no

risk of damage.

NOTE: Charging should not be carried out when the ambient temperature is below 0°C or

above +40°C. The charger will become warm during use. This is perfectly normal.

USE

Holding the handle remove your vacuum cleaner from its bracket. Switch on the vacuum

cleaner by pressing the switch to the “ON” position. Tilt the vacuum cleaner till the nozzle of the

dust collector is placed horizontally compared to the surface that is to be cleaned. When you

are finished, release the ON/OFF switch and the appliance will be switched off.
