IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance, and always follow the

safety and operating instructions.

Important: People (including children) who are not able to use the appliance in a safe way,

due to their physical, sensorial or mental capacity or their lack of experience or knowledge,

must never use the appliance except if they are supervised by a person responsible for their

safety or if they previously received instructions concerning the safe use of the appliance.

Close supervision is necessary to prevent children from using the appliance as a toy.

 Check that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the appliance.

 Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use.

 From time to time check the appliance for damages. If it is damaged it should be

repaired by a competent qualified electrician

. If the power cord is damaged, it must be

replaced by an identical power cord or a cord similar to the original one and showing the

same characteristics. In case of doubt or if you do not find an identical power cord,

please contact the nearest customer service.

 Only use the appliance for domestic purposes and in the way indicated in these

instructions.

 Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid for any reason whatsoever even

if you have removed the power cord.

 Never use the appliance near hot surfaces.

 Before cleaning or storing the appliance, always unplug it and let it cool down.

 Never use the appliance outside and always place it in a dry environment.

 Never use accessories that are not recommended by the producer. They could constitute

a danger to the user and risk to damage the appliance. Especially the power cord and its

connector as the latter is equipped with a specific safety regulation.

 Stand the appliance on a table or flat surface to prevent it from falling down.

 It is absolutely necessary to keep this appliance clean at all times as it comes into contact

with food.

 Make sure the cord does not come into contact with the hot parts of the appliance.

 Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Make sure the cord cannot get caught in

any way. Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it.

 Never touch the bullet-shaped ice cubes with your naked hand as you would risk frost

bite.

 Do not place the appliance near heat sources or in direct sunlight.

 In order to prevent the appliance from tipping over, do not move the appliance when it is

filled.

 Do not let the appliance switched on if you do not use it for a long period of time.

 Do not touch the appliance if your hands or feet are wet.

 Do not move the appliance when it is in use.

 If the appliance does not function properly, unplug it and contact a competent qualified

electrician

 Avoid sudden temperature changes, such as adding hot water in the ice basket.

 Do not tip the appliance over.

 If the ice maker is brought in from outside in the wintertime, give it a few hours to warm up

to room temperature before plugging it in.

 Only use drinkable water to prepare ice.

 Never block the ventilation grid.

Competent qualified electrician: after-sales department of the producer or importer or any

person who is qualified, approved and competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to

avoid all danger. In case of need you should return the appliance to this electrician.
