Frequency unit indicators
kHz: AM, or PCM sampling frequency
MHz: FM
[L, C, R, S, SL, SB, SR, LFE]
Program format indicators
Show the channels contained in the digital input
signal. They do not light when input is analogue.
L: Front left channel
C: Center channel
R: Front right channel
S: If the surround channel is monaural.
SL: Surround left channel
SB: Surround back channel
SR: Surround right channel
LFE (Low Frequency Effect): Deep-bass effect.
[LOW IMP, SPEAKERS , ]
Speaker indicators
LOW IMP:You have switched to LOW IMP because you have
connected speakers with an impedance under 6 Ω.
SPEAKERS Å: Sound is output from speakers connected to
the front A, surround, and center terminals.
SPEAKERS ı: Sound is output only from speakers connected
to the front B terminals.
SPEAKERS Åı: Sound is output from speakers connected to
the front A and B terminals.

[FIXED, PCM, DTS]
Light when a fix mode is selected.
FIXED PCM: PCM FIX mode
FIXED DTS: DTS FIX mode
[TUNED, STEREO,
MONO, ˜]
Radio indicators
TUNED: A station is tuned.
MONO: You have switched to
monaural mode with
[-BAND, –FM MODE,
DISPLAY MODE] to
improve reception.
STEREO: A stereo FM broadcast
is tuned.
˜: Flashes during presetting.
General display
Shows the input mode, radio frequency, and
other general information.
[OVER]
Lights when input exceeds rated values.
Turn the A/D attenuator on if this occurs frequently (

[ATT]
Lights when the A/D attenuator is working.
