Using a PIN code to protect your SIM card
YoucanspecifyaPersonalIdenticationNumber(PIN)toprotecttheSIMcardfrom
unauthorised use.
1. In Standby mode press Left Soft button to access the Main menu.
2. Use the Navigation button to select Settings > Security settings to access
the submenu.
3. Select SIM1 Security Settings or SIM2 Security Settings to set the PIN code,
or change the PIN and PIN2 settings.
Note: Emergency calls can always be made without a PIN code.
Using a keypad lock to protect your phone
Locking the keypad can prevent you from making accidental calls when the phone is in a
bag, purse or pocket.
