NO MORE WATER WHILE IT IS BEING USED
The jet of steam becomes less and finally disappears if there is no more water.
Carefully follow the instructions given below to fill up the heater again:
• switch off the on/off boiler button (2) by turning it to “OFF” (O); the integrated control
indicator lamp will go off;
• press button (11) on the iron, until the boiler is completely empty and no more steam
is being produced;
• unplug the plug from the outlet;
• slowly unscrew the boiler cap (5) in an anticlockwise direction being careful of any
eventual residual steam;
• fill up the boiler following instructions given in the “How to fill the boiler with water”
paragraph;
• switch on the appliance again following the same instructions given in the “How to
start” paragraph.

Always unplug the iron from the outlet before filling the boiler with water.
WHEN YOU HAVE FINISHED IRONING
• Switch off the boiler on/off button (2) by turning it to “OFF” (O).
• Empty out all the steam left in the boiler by pressing button (11) on the iron.
• Switch off the on/off button (3) on the iron by turning it to “OFF” (O).
• Unplug the plug from the outlet.
• Rest the iron on the support base (3) and wait for the appliance to completely cool
down before putting it away.

Never unscrew the cap (5) without emptying out all the steam from the boiler.
FOR DRY IRONING
• Rest the iron on the boiler support base (3).
• Select the right temperature (see table in figure 3) by turning the control knob on the
iron (13).
• Completely unwind the cord (7) and plug into the outlet.
• The indicator lamp (14) on the iron will immediately light up. The iron has reached the
set temperature and is ready to be used when the indicator lamp goes out.
• Do not press the steam jet button (11) on the iron if you want to dry iron.
• The indicator lamp (14) on the iron will light up and go off automatically while you are
ironing to show that the soleplate is being kept at a constant temperature.
CLEANING YOUR IRON
• Always unplug the iron from the outlet and wait for the appliance to completely cool
down before starting any cleaning operations.
• Use a normal damp sponge to clean the aluminium soleplate, or else a non-metallic
kitchen scouring-pad for difficult stains.
• Use a damp cloth to clean the rest of the iron and body of the boiler only.
• Never submerge the appliance or parts of it into water or other liquid, do not use
steam, chemical or abrasive substances.
