• Always make sure the plug is disconnected from the power outlet when
carrying out this operation.
• Make sure the steam control button (4) is in the position (dry ironing).
• Open the lid (3) and fill the tank without going over the MAX level (12) indicated
on the tank (11). Never place perfuming substances in the tank.
• Close the lid (3).
Recommendations:
If the water in your area is particularly calcareous, we recommended using distilled
water.
• Make sure the steam control button (4) is in the position (dry ironing).
• Place the iron in a diagonal position, completely unwind the power cord (8) and con-
nect the plug to the power outlet.
• With the temperature control knob (9), select the temperature most suitable to the
type of fabric to iron (see table 2 in fig. B).
• The thermostat light (7) will turn on. It will then turn off when the selected tempera-
ture is reached. The iron is now ready to use.
Important:
• Never leave the iron unattended when it is connected to the power outlet.
• The iron must be used and left in the rest position (e.g. during ironing pau-
ses) on a stable surface.
• Do not use the iron if it has been dropped, if there are signs of damage or if
water leaks from the soleplate.
Recommendations:
• First iron the most delicate fabrics that require low temperatures and then move
onto more resistant fabrics that require higher temperatures
• Before ironing run the iron over a small hidden area of your garment to make sure
the temperature selected is suitable to the type of fabric.
• Fill the tank (11) with water.
• Select the desired steam output via the steam control button (4).
Note:
• Only discharge the steam if the knob (9) is positioned towards the ••• MAX symbols.
• The steam production is interrupted automatically when the iron is positioned verti-
cally during a pause in ironing.
• Drops of water may be discharged together with the steam on first use. This is nor-
mal. Before ironing your clothes and household linen carry out tests on an old piece
of fabric.
