INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
On first use
Wash the measuring cup (1), the cover (2) and the cooking compartment (3):
refer to the paragraph on “cleaning”.
Preparation of the popcorn
- Position the appliance on a perfectly horizontal and stable surface.
- Completely unwind the power supply cable (6), make sure the switch (5) is in
the zero “0” position (appliance OFF) and connect the plug to the power point.
- Pour the corn kernels for preparing the popcorn into the cooking compartment
(3). A minimum of 40 g and a maximum of 100 g corn kernels are
recommended.
- Correctly place the cover (2) on the appliance body (4) and put the measuring
cup (1) in the appropriate position on the cover.
- Place a very large and heat resistant container under the chute (8).
- Turn the appliance on by bringing the switch (5) to the “1” position (appliance
on).
- The appliance starts running and the indicating light (7) turns on.
- Wait a few minutes for the popcorn to start exiting
When the popcorn is ready turn the appliance off by bringing the switch to the
“0” position (appliance off), disconnect the plug from the power point and wait
for the appliance to cool down before cleaning and replacing it.
Important
- Never place oil, butter, salt or other ingredients in the cooking
compartment (3).
- Do not leave the appliance running for more than six minutes: after each
use let the appliance cool down for at least 10 minutes before reusing.
- While the appliance is running never touch or remove the cover (2) or
the measuring cup (1) since they are very hot.
- Do not use the appliance on heat sensitive surfaces and near
inflammable materials.
- Do not use the appliance when the cooking compartment (3) is empty.
- The appliance generates a lot of heat when it is running: pay attention
especially to children who may be attracted by the appliance.
Suggestions
Add salt to the popcorn when it is still hot.
You can pour two or three teaspoons of melted butter over the popcorn to your
liking.
Após o uso
- Desconectar o plugue da tomada de corrente e deixar esfriar o aparelho e
todas as suas partes.
- Eliminar qualquer resíduo eventual que ficou na parte interna da sede de
cozimento (3) virando o corpo do aparelho.
Limpeza
Antes de executar qualquer operação de limpeza, desconectar o plugue do
aparelho da tomada de corrente e esperar que se esfrie totalmente.
- Remover qualquer resíduo eventual de milho da sede de cozimento (3).
- Lavar o dosador (1), a tampa (2) utilizando água e detergente normal para
louças.
- Limpar a sede de cozimento (3) e o corpo do aparelho (4) utilizando somente
um pano úmido: a seguir enxugar cuidadosamente.
Não mergulhar o aparelho na água ou em outros líquidos.
Não utilizar substâncias químicas ou abrasivas, sobretudo para as partes
que podem entrar em contato com a pipoca.
