• Before inserting the batteries, check that the contacts
in the device and on the batteries are clean, and clean
them if necessary.
• You must insert only the battery supplied.
• Note the polarity (+/-) when inserting the battery.
• Store the battery in a cool, dry place. Direct intense heat
can damage the battery. Therefore, keep the unit away
from strong heat sources.
• Avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous membranes.
If any of these areas come into contact with battery acid,
rinse them immediately with plenty of clean water and
consult a doctor as soon as possible.
• Do not throw the battery into a  re, short-circuit it or
dismantle it.
• Never expose the battery to excessive heat, such as from
sunshine,  re or similar.
• If the camera is not going to be used for some time,
remove the battery.
• If the battery is leaking, remove it from the camera im-
mediately. Clean the contacts before inserting a new
battery. There is a risk of skin irritations from battery
acid!
• Remove at batteries from the camera.
• At low temperatures the capacity of the battery can drop
signi cantly due to the reduced speed of the chemical
reactions. When recording in cold weather keep a sec-
ond battery pack in reserve in a warm place (e.g. trouser
pocket).
