f. Connect brown cable to earth (KL31)
5. Insert thermometer in holder or secure it with Velcro fastener
Use:
1. Lower display row is extemal temperature
2. Upper display row can be toggled between time and internal temparature by pushing the red button
3. Setting time
a. The SET mode is the default mode when current is first applied to the thermometer. There after, it
can be set by lifting the right-hand cover on the front to the right end pressing the MODE button
b. The minute display will now blink
c. Use the SET button to adjust minutes
d. Press the MODE button again to make the hours display blink
e. Use the SET button again to adjust the hours
f. Confirm your input by pressing the MODE button once again
g. Close the cover. The thermometer is now ready for use
4. The display is automatically lit if the thermometer is connected to the vehicle battery
5. If the extenal temperature drops below 3 C° the thermometer will display a blinking snowflake as a
warning of ground frost.
Troubleshooting
Insert new battery and check the lugs are correctly installed before sending the thermometer to us for repair.
Improper use and/or attempts to open the thermometer invalidate the guarantee.
