Note:
By a successfully reception of the DCF signal and if the DCF
reception is activated (ON), the m anually set time will be overwritten.
During the reception the DCF sym bol will be flashing. If the reception
is not successfully received, the DCF sym bol disappears. The next
attempt will be held at the next full hour.
CALENDAR SETT ING
The date default is 1. 1. of the year 2013. Onc e the radio-controlled
time signals are received, the date is automat ically updated. However,
if the signals are not received, the date can al so be set manually.
1. The year digit will be flashing. Use the + button , to set the year
required. The range runs from 2013 to 2049 (default is 2013).
2. Press the SET button to enter the mont h setting.
3. The month digit will be flashing. Press the + button to set the
month.
4. Press the SE T button to enter the day setting.
5. The day digit w ill be flashing. Press the + button to set the day.
6. Confirm with the SET button and enter the Snooze setting .
SNOOZE SETT ING
The snooze time can be deactivated (OFF) or set to a m aximum time
of 30 minutes (default is10 m inutes):
1. The snooze time digit (in m inute) will be flashing. Use the +
button to set the snooze tim e. The settings are: 5, 10 (default),
15, 20, 25, 30. The snooze can also be deactivated (OFF).
OFF appears in the display.
2. Confirm the setting with the SET button and enter the ºC /ºF
temperature unit setting.
Note:
If the snooze tim e has bee n set “OFF”, the snooz e function cannot be
activated.
°C/°F TEMPERATURE UN IT SETT ING
The default is °C (degree Celsius). To select °F (deg ree Fahrenheit):
1. Press the + button meanw hile the “C will be flashing to toggle
between “°C” and “°F”.
2. Confirm with the SET button and enter the Air quality al ert
setting.
AIR QUALITY ALERT SETTING
The air quality monitor has 3 alert settings (def ault OFF):
•
ALL: LED alert light with alert sound
• OFF: Alert deactivated (no LED alert flashing, no alert sound)
• LED: LED alert flashing only
1. The setting will be flashing. Use the + button t o set the required
setting (ALL, LED, OFF).
2. Confirm with the SET button and exit the manual settings .
Note:
If the air quality alert has been set to “ALL” or “LED”:

> 1500ppm:
LED alert will be flashing at a slower speed (1.5 seconds) and
no alert sound.

> 2000ppm:
LED alert will be flashing at faster speed (0.5 seconds) and has
an alert sound. (Alert will sound only if the air quality setting
has been set to ALL).
Note about the air quality alert:
• The air quality alert will sound for a maximum duration of 30
minutes. To stop the alert, press any button.
• If the clock alarm or the DCF reception occurs w hile the air
quality is on alert mode, the air quality alert sound stops and
the LED flashing will momen tarily stop. It will restart on ce the
clock alarm is stopped, or after the DCF time reception is done.
ALARM SETT ING
Press the MODE button in normal mode to toggle to th e alarm display.
1. Press and hold ALARM button for about 3 seconds until the
alarm time display will be flashing.
2. The hour digit will be flashing. Press the + butt on to adju st the
hour.
3. Press the ALARM button and the mi nute digit will be flashing.
Press the
+
button to set the minute.
4. Press again the ALARM button to confirm the setting and exit
the alarm setting.
Note:
• To activate/ deactivate the alarm function, press the A LARM
button once in normal mo de. The display of the ala rm sym bol
represents that the alarm is activated "ON".
• The duration of alarm sounding is 180 seconds.
TO ACTIVATE THE SNOOZE FUNCT ION AND
STOPPING TH E A L ARM:
1. When the alarm is sounding, press the SNO OZE button to
activate the snooze function. The alarm will stop a nd re-
activate after the time interval of the snooz e time pre-set by the
user.
2. To stop the alarm com pletely, press a ny button except the
SNOOZE button.
CARE AND M AIN T ENANCE
• Clean the instrument with a soft damp cloth. Do not use
solvents or scouring agents. Protect it from moi sture.
• Remove the batteries if you do not use the product for a long
period of time
BA TTER Y REPLACEMENT

Replace the batteries, when the battery sym bol appears on the
top right side of the LCD.
