3.3 Types of control
C. Remote control
With the clock thermostat, the operating conditions for comfort and
frost protection modes can be turned on or off over the telephone.
There are possible connections for two external or telephone remote
contacts available for this.
Remote control for comfort mode
RAM 366/1top (RAM 366/2 top):
Link connection terminals 7 (12) and 8 (13).
Remote control for frost protection mode
RAM 366/1top (RAM 366/2 top):
Link connection terminals 8 (13) and 9 (14).
What happens if both external contacts are closed at the
same time?
The comfort program takes priority over frost protection mode.
When does the LED flash?
If the connections, see 1) and 2), have been closed by an external
contact and therefore the Comfort or Frost protection function
periods have been activated.

3.4 Operating conditions order of priority
(1) Remote control "Comfort mode"
(Prerequisite: Telephone remote control switch is connected
to connection terminals 7 (12) and 8 (13) )
(2) Remote control "Frost protection mode"
(Prerequisite: Telephone remote control switch is connected
to connection terminals 8 (13) and 9 (14) )
(3) Manual operation using keys (19/20)
(4) Automatic on individual time program
3.5 Procedure in case of power failure/return of power
Relay procedure after mains power failure
During a mains power cut, the relays enter
stationary position.
The stored program is retained for approx.
5 years at full reserve power.
Program review
After a power cut or programming, the clock
timer will carry out a program review until midnight
and then sets the correct significant state for the relay.
