. Note When Setting Date
The date function advances the date between the hours of 9 PM and 12 AM. Avoid setting
the date during this time frame. If you attempt to set the date during this time, rotate the
crown at a very slow rate to avoid damaging the watch and set the date for the following
date, as the date will not advance if set during this time frame. When resetting the time and
date after a battery change it is recommended to set the time to the date before the current
date and then setting the time by moving the hands forward until the date changes to the
current date, and then continuing to advance the hands forward to the current time.
Set Tide Cycle Hand:
The Tide cycle hand steps forward every 12 minutes 24.4 seconds, one full turn takes 12 hours
24 minute and 24 seconds (one high tide and one low tide). CONSULT THE LOCAL TIDE
TIMETABLE PRIOR TO SETTING THE TIDE CYCLE HAND.
1. PUSH AND HOLD pusher “A” for approximately one second to activate the setting mode. The
tide cycle hand will advance one position as the setting mode is activated.
