System functions with tiptel 3011/3022 office/system
The macro programming of buttons regarding the available system functions is carried out at the
telephone system. The assignment of the keys programmed correspondingly cannot be modified
by you as these modifications can only be carried out by the administrator of the telephone
system. Should you try to modify the key assignment, the error message: "only functional keys
allowed!" will be displayed. The keys that have not been pre-programmed can, however, be
modified according to your individual requirements. To do this, please refer to page 37 (chapter
macro programming).
The following functional keys can be set on your device:
Internal target (internal phone number with busy-line-indication (LED))
An internal subscriber number has been saved on this key. The following functions are available:
❍ Subscriber in the idle state, LED off
When this key is pressed, a connection to the programmed subscriber phone number is set
up.After pressing the R-key, an active call can be transferred with or without announcement
to the programmed subscriber number.
❍ Incoming call for the subscriber, LED blinks
If the corresponding authorisation is available, the call can be picked up by pressing the key
(call pick-up).
❍ Subscriber is holding a call, LED on
When the necessary authorisation is available, the call can be picked up by pressing the key.
If a second call is signalled at the same subscriber number while this subscriber is holding a
telephone call (LED on), this second call is indicated by means of a blinking LED. That means
that a call pick-up can be carried out for the second call (waiting call).
Status CO-line access
For this function, the LED indicates whether a CO-line is available for an external call. It will be
taken into account to which external S0 connections your subscriber number has been assigned.
It is thus possible that no external line is available though not all external S0 connections are
busy.
❍ No CO-line available, LED on
❍ An external line is available, LED off
Pressing the key activates the hands-free mode and an external line is made available
(external dialling tone after standard exchange connection). When the handset is lifted, the
hands-free mode is not automatically activated.
❍ Exchange authorisation has been withdrawn, LED blinks
The reason could be, for example, that the exchange authorisation has been deactivated or
that the subscriber number has exceeded the limit of the charge account..
