Electrical safety
Always check that the power supply corresponds to
the voltage on the rating plate.
Your machine is double insulated in accor-
dance with EN 50144; therefore no earth-
wire is required.
Replacing cables or plugs
Immediately throw away old cables or plugs when
they have been replaced by new ones. It is dange-
rous to insert the plug of a loose cable in the wall out-
let.
Using extension cables
Only use an approved extension cable suitable for
the power input of the machine. The minimum con-
ductor size is 1.5 mm

PACKAGE CONTENTS
The package contains:
1 circular saw
1 sawblade
1 parallel guide
1 13 mm box wrench
1 dust bag
1 instruction manual
1 safety instructions
1 guarantee card
Check the machine, loose parts and accessories for
transport damage.
USING THE MACHINE:
1. Use clamps or a vice to hold the work.
2. Never remove wood chips and suchlike that are
close to the saw blade with your hands. As there
are small pieces of wood left between the fixed
and the movable parts, the circular saw will have
to be stopped, removing the plugs from the soc-
ket, before any piece left will taken off.
3. Do not attempt to cut before the circular saw has
reached full speed. Make sure the circular saw
runs without load (i.e. is not in contact with the
work) when you switch on the tool. The circular
saw must have reached its full speed first.
4. Never cut wood that is thicker than the length of
the saw blade.
5. When cutting in wooden walls or floors, check
there is no wiring or piping where you intend to
cut.
6. Switch off the tool and wait until the blade has
stopped completely before moving the saw away
from the work or putting it down.
SWITCH OFF THE MACHINE IMMEDIA-
TELY WHEN:
1. Defective mains plug, mains lead, without any
loose ends or damage;
2. Defective switch.
3. Overheating of the circular saw.
4. Smoke or bad smell caused by scorched insula-
tion.
