86tolino Manual
When using and storing the eReader, make sure that the environment is as dust-free
as possible.
Never clean the surface of the eReader with solvents, paint thinners, detergents, or
other chemical products. Instead, you should use a soft, slightly moistened cloth.
If you expose the eReader to an electrostatic discharge, the data transfer between the
device and the PC may get interrupted. The functions of the eReader may no longer
work properly. In that case, you should disconnect the eReader from the USB port
and plug it in again, or terminate the WLAN connection and restart the WLAN.
USB cables longer than 3 meters should not be used. If possible, please use the orig-
inal USB cable.
The storage capacity of your device displayed by the operating system may differ
from the actual capacity. Like most hardware manufacturers, Longshine uses the
International System of Units (SI) prefixes for units to specify storage capacity (e.g., 1
GB = 1,000,000,000 bytes). However, many operating systems do not adhere to this
specification and display a lower memory capacity because they base their calcula-
tions on 1 GB = 1,073,741,824 bytes.
WLAN
Frequency range: 2.400–2.4835GHz
Max. transmission power: 19.36dB
SAR limits
This device has been tested and found to comply with the applicable radiation pro-
tection limits.
The frequency range and the maximum transmission power are determined as follows:
2412–2472MHz: 19.36dBM
Transmission rate 802.11b: up to 11 Mbps
802.11g: up to 54Mbps
802.11n: up to 72.2Mbps
The exposure standards for wireless devices use a measure which is referred to as
the specific absorption rate or SAR. The maximum SAR recommended by the Coun-
cil of the European Union is 2.0 W/kg. The highest SAR value of this device is well
below the EU limits; details are given in the table below:
