SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
The following basic safety precautions should always be taken:
• Close supervision is necessary when the
thermometer is used by, on, or near children,
handicapped persons or invalids.
• Use the thermometer only for the intended
use described in this manual.
• Do not use the thermometer if it is not working
properly, or if it has suffered any damage.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE
• As with any thermometer, proper technique is crucial to obtaining
accurate temperature readings. Please read this manual thoroughly
and carefully before using.
• Always operate the thermometer in an operating temperature range
from 10°C to 40° C and a relative humidity from 15% to 85%.
• Always store the thermometer in a cool and dry place (-20°C to 55°C)
and a relative humidity from 15% to 90%.
• The device requires no calibration.
• The device contains no user serviceable parts.
• The user must check that the equipment functions safely and see that
it is in proper working condition before use.
• No modification of this equipment is allowed.
• The device is not suitable for use in the presence of flammable
anesthetic mixtures with air or with oxygen or nitrous oxide.
• Do not clean the device while it is being used.
• Avoid direct sunlight.
• Avoid dropping the thermometer, if it happens and you think the
thermometer may be damaged, please contact customer service
immediately.
• Do not touch the lens.
• Do not disassemble the thermometer.
• Basic safety precautions should always be observed, especially when
the thermometer is used on or near children and disabled persons.
• This thermometer is not intended to substitute for a consultation with
your physician
• This thermometer and the subject must remain in a stable
environment for at least 30 minutes before measuring the
temperature.
• Earwax in the ear canal or oil/grease on the forehead may cause an
inaccurate measurement , so make sure the ear canal or forehead is
clean.
• If you clean the ear or forehead, please wait for 5~10 minutes before
measuring.
• When the measured temperature falls within the fever temperature
range of ≥37.8°C (100.04°F) and <42.9°C (109.22°F), as indicated by
the display, please consult with your physician immediately.
• Open the battery cover, remove the insulating plastic sheet and re-
install the battery cover.
• The patient may be the operator of the thermometer. When the device
is used to measure the temperature of a child, it has to be operated by
an adult. Adults can measure their own temperature.
• The measured temperature is adjusted to show the body’s core
temperature.
Restrictions of use
• This thermometer is clinically proven to produce accurate temperature
measurements, However, please be advised that the accuracy cannot
be ensured when the thermometer is not clean. Check that the probe
is clean before taking a measurement
INTENDED USE
The infrared thermometer is intended for the intermittent measurement
and monitoring of human body temperature from forehead
measurement at home, clinics and hospital.
A control measurement using a conventional thermometer is
recommended in the following cases:
• If the reading is surprisingly low.
• For new-born infants up to 100 days old.
• For children under three years of age who have a weakened immune
system or who react unusually in the presence or absence of fever.
How does it work
The thermometer measures the infrared heat generated by the surface
of the skin over the vessel and its surrounding tissue. The thermometer
then converts it into a temperature value.
NOTE: The thermometer does not emit any infrared energy.
Display mode
You can switch between two different modes with the mode switch:
• Body mode: This mode is used to measure the forehead
temperature.
• Object mode: This mode is used to measure the object temperature.
Select the Temperature Unit
This meter provides two measurement units used for indicating the
body/object temperature, °C or °F, for your preferred selection.
• Make sure the thermometer is OFF before selecting the temperature
unit.
• Long-press the Measurement Button for 5 seconds until the "°C" or
"°F" is displayed on the LCD panel as figure shown. Re-press the
Measurement Button to select °C or °F unit.
Turn the Led Light ON or OFF
This meter provides Led Light to help users placing the thermometer at
the correct position.
• Short-press the ON/OFF Button, the text "LED" or "OFF" will displayed
on the LCD panel.
• Quick press the measurement button, and select "LED or OFF" to turn
the Led Light on or off.
Replacing the Battery
The thermometer works with two 1.5 V AAA alkaline batteries. The
thermometer will display an empty battery indication to alert you when
the thermometer power is getting low, please follow the steps below to
replace new batteries immediately.
• Remove the battery cover according to the arrow direction.
• Remove the old batteries and replace with two 1.5V AAA size alkaline
batteries. Take care to match the Positive ( + ) and Negative ( - )
indications
• Close the battery cover according to the arrow direction.
NOTE:
• Although the thermometer works when the empty battery indication
appears, we still recommend that you change the batteries to obtain
an accurate result.
• Remove the batteries if stored for a long period of time.
• The batteries should be kept out of children’s reach. If they are
swallowed, promptly see a doctor for help.
USING THE DEVICE AS A BODY MEASUREMENT THERMOMETER
• Press the “ON/OFF” Button to turn on the thermometer first.
• Push the Mode switch to select Body mode. The device sounds one
short beep when it is turned on and the temperature unit flashes to
confirms the readiness to perform the measurement.
• Move the probe close to the forehead and take measurements. Make
sure the probe is flat and close to the forehead, not at an angle. Perform
a forehead measurement with a distance within 3 cm.
• Read the result. The measurement result will be done in 1 second. The
reading is shown together with LED lighting, and one long beep informs
about the temperature measurement, and after a while another,
confirming the saving of the result to the memory and readiness for the
next measurement.
• Press the “ON/OFF” button to turn off the unit, or leave it idle for 30
seconds, the unit will switch off automatically.
NOTE:
• As the forehead measurement temperature is likely to be affected by
sweat, oil and the surroundings, the reading shall be taken as a
reference only.
• If the probe is placed at an angle close to the forehead measurement,
the reading will be affected by surrounding temperature. Babies’ skin
reacts very quickly to the ambient temperature. Therefore, do not take
their temperature with the thermometer during or after breastfeeding,
because the skin temperature may then be lower than the internal body
temperature.
• If the measured temperature is < 32°C (89.6°F), the display will show
with LO symbol.
• If the reading is ≥ 37.8°C (100.04°F) and < 42.9°C (109.22°F), the
display will show together with red LED and six short beeps.
• The thermometer will automatically turn off if left idle for 30 seconds.
As an Object Measurement Thermometer
• Press the “ON/OFF” Switch to turn on the thermometer first.
• Push the Mode switch to select Object mode. The machine emits two
short beeps indicating that the object mode is turned on and the
temperature unit flashes.
• Move the probe close to the object and take measurements. Make sure
the probe is flat and close to the object, not at an angle. Perform a
measurement within a distance of 3 cm. When ready, press the
measurement button.
• Read the result. The measurement result will be done in 1 second. The
reading is shown together with LED lighting , one long beep informs
about the temperature measurement, and after a while another, short,
confirming the saving of the result to the memory and readiness for the
next measurement.
• Press the “ON/OFF” button to turn off the unit, or leave it idle for 30
seconds, the unit will switch off automatically.
Memory Function
This thermometer stores the 25 most recent readings.
• Be sure the thermometer is OFF before recalling this memory.
• Press the Memory Button to enter the memory mode.
• Each time you press the Memory Button, a result will be displayed in the
order of dates (latest result shown first), together with “MEM” and a
number (from 1 to 25).
• The display will light up in green, yellow or red conforming to the memory
reading.
• When the memory is full, the oldest result is deleted as the new one
added. When the last record displayed in the display, press the Memory
Button again to return to the first record.
• Press the ON/OFF Button to exit the memory function or leave the
thermometer idle for 10 seconds to switch off automatically
Clearing the memory
• When in memory mode, long-press the ON/OFF Button for 3 seconds,
release the button after the signal -- dEL displayed on the LCD panel as
figure shown.
• Then long-press the ON/OFF Button for 3 seconds, release the button
after the signal -- Clr displayed on the LCD panel as figure shown. All the
memories would be deleted after that.
Silent mode:
To measure temperature without 'beep' sound, please press and hold the
measurement button for at least 7 seconds, until On or Off will display on
the screen. By pressing the measurement button again you can switch
between beep: on or off. Press the on/off button to confirm. When
selecting ‘off’ the thermometer is in silent mode.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• The probe is not waterproof. Please wipe with a clean and dry cotton
swab to clean the probe on the inside.
• The body of the thermometer is not water-resistant. Never put the
thermometer under a running tap or submerge it into water. Use a soft
and dry cloth to clean it. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
• Store the thermometer in a cool and dry location. Free from dust and
away from direct sunlight.

This appliance should not be put into the domestic garbage at the
end of its durability, but must be offered at a central point for the recycling
of electric and electronic domestic appliances. This symbol on the

VOORAFGAAND AAN HET EERSTE GEBRUIK
• Zoals voor iedere thermometer geldt, is de juiste techniek van essentieel
belang voor het verkrijgen van nauwkeurige temperatuuraflezingen. Lees
deze handleiding voor gebruik grondig en zorgvuldig door.
• Gebruik de thermometer altijd bij een bedrijfstemperatuur tussen 10 °C
en 40 °C en een relatieve luchtvochtigheid van 15% tot 85%.
• Bewaar de thermometer altijd op een koele en droge locatie (-20 °C tot
55 °C) en een relatieve luchtvochtigheid van 15% tot 90%.
• Het apparaat hoeft niet te worden geijkt.
• Het apparaat bevat geen door de gebruiker te onderhouden onderdelen.
• De gebruiker moet voor gebruik controleren of het apparaat veilig werkt
en kijken of het in goede staat voor gebruik is.

• Deze thermometer is niet bedoeld ter vervanging van een consult van uw
arts.
• Deze thermometer en het object moeten voor het meten van de
temperatuur minimaal 30 minuten in een stabiele omgeving verblijven.
• Oorsmeer in het oorkanaal of oliën/vetten op het voorhoofd kunnen
leiden tot onnauwkeurige metingen. Zorg er daarom voor dat het
oorkanaal/voorhoofd schoon is.
• Als u het oor of voorhoofd schoonmaakt, moet u daarna 5-10 minuten
wachten voordat u een meting uitvoert.
• Als de gemeten temperatuur op het display binnen het
koortstemperatuurbereik van 37,8 °C tot 42,9 °C valt, moet u direct
contact opnemen met uw huisarts.
• Open het batterijdeksel van het apparaat, verwijder het isolerende plastic
velletje en plaats het batterijdeksel terug.
• De patiënt kan de thermometer zelf bedienen. Als het apparaat wordt
gebruikt voor temperatuurmetingen bij een kind, moet het door een
volwassene worden bediend. Volwassenen kunnen hun eigen
tempratuur meten.
• De gemeten temperatuur wordt aangepast om de lichaamstemperatuur
van het menselijk lichaam te tonen.
Gebruiksbeperkingen
• Deze thermometer heeft klinisch bewezen dat hij nauwkeurige
temperatuurmetingen geeft. Bedenk echter wel dat de nauwkeurigheid
niet kan worden gegarandeerd als de thermometer niet schoon is.
Controleer voordat u gaat meten of de sonde schoon is.
BEOOGD GEBRUIK
De infraroodthermometer is bedoeld voor onderbroken meting en
bewaking van de temperatuur van het menselijk lichaam op basis van
meting van het voorhoofd thuis, in klinieken en ziekenhuizen.
Een controlemeting met een conventionele thermometer wordt in de
onderstaande gevallen aangeraden:
• Als de aflezing onverwacht laag is.
• Bij baby's jonger dan 100 dagen.
• Bij kinderen jonger dan drie jaar die een verzwakt immuunsysteem
hebben of die afwijkend gedrag vertonen in verband met de
aanwezigheid of afwezigheid van koorts.
Werkingsprincipe
De thermometer meet de door het huidoppervlak via het bloedvat en het
omliggende weefsel gegenereerde infraroodwarmte. De thermometer zet
deze meting vervolgens om in een temperatuurwaarde.
LET OP: De thermometer zendt geen infrarode energie uit.
Weergavemodus
Met de modusschakelaar kunt u tussen twee verschillende modi
schakelen:
• Lichaamsmodus: Deze modus dient voor het meten van de
temperatuur van het voorhoofd.
• Objectmodus: Deze modus dient voor het meten van de
objecttemperatuur.
De temperatuureenheid selecteren
Deze meter bevat twee meeteenheden om de temperatuur van het object/
lichaam aan te geven, °C of °F. U kunt de eenheid van uw voorkeur
kiezen.
• Controleer voordat u de temperatuureenheid kiest of de thermometer op
UIT staat.
• Druk de meetknop 5 seconden lang in tot "°C" of "°F" op het LCD-
scherm verschijnt, zoals weergegeven in de figuur. Druk nogmaals op de
meetknop om de eenheid °C of °F te kiezen.
De ledverlichting in- of uitschakelen
Deze meter bevat ledverlichting om gebruikers te helpen de thermometer
in de juiste positie te plaatsen.
• Druk op de AAN/UIT-knop en de tekst "LED" of "OFF" [UIT] verschijnt op
het LCD-scherm.
• Druk snel op de meetknop en kies "LED" of "OFF" om de ledverlichting in
of uit te schakelen.
De batterij vervangen
De thermometer werkt met twee 1,5 V AAA alkalinebatterijen. De
thermometer geeft een lege batterij-indicatie om u te waarschuwen als de
batterijspanning te laag wordt. Volg de onderstaande stappen om
onmiddellijk nieuwe batterijen te plaatsen.
• Verwijder de batterijdeksel in de richting van de pijl.
• Verwijder de oude batterijen en vervang ze door twee 1,5 V AAA
alkalinebatterijen. Zorg hierbij dat de positieve ( + ) en negatieve ( - )
polen kloppen.
• Sluit de batterijdeksel in de richting van de pijl.
LET OP:
• Hoewel de thermometer nog wel werkt als de lege batterij-indicatie
verschijnt, adviseren wij u toch de batterijen te vervangen voor een
nauwkeurig resultaat.
• Verwijder de batterijen als de thermometer voor een langere tijd wordt
opgeborgen.
• Houd de batterijen buiten het bereik van kinderen. Raadpleeg als
batterijen zijn ingeslikt onmiddellijk een arts.
HET APPARAAT VOOR HET METEN VAN DE LICHAAMSTEMPERATUUR
GEBRUIKEN
• Druk eerst op de AAN/UIT-knop om de thermometer in te schakelen.
• Druk op de modusschakelaar om de Lichaamsmodus te kiezen. Het
apparaat geeft bij het inschakelen één korte pieptoon en de
temperatuureenheid knippert om aan te geven dat het apparaat gereed
is om de meting uit te voeren.
• Breng de sonde dicht naar het voorhoofd en voer de meting uit. Zorg dat
de sonde plat en dicht op het voorhoofd ligt, niet in een hoek. Meet het
voorhoofd op een maximumafstand van 3cm.
• Lees het resultaat af. Het meetresultaat verschijnt in 1 seconde. De
aflezing verschijnt samen met de ledverlichting en één lange pieptoon
geeft aan dat de temperatuur is gemeten. Even later klinkt nog een
pieptoon om te bevestigen dat het resultaat in het geheugen is
opgeslagen en het apparaat gereed is voor de volgende meting.
• Druk op de AAN/UIT-knop om het apparaat uit te schakelen of raak het
30 seconden niet aan. Het apparaat zal nu automatisch uitschakelen.
LET OP:
• Als de temperatuurmeting van het voorhoofd mogelijk wordt beïnvloed
door zweet, olie en de omgeving, dient de aflezing uitsluitend ter
referentie.
• Als bij het meten van het voorhoofd de sonde in een hoek is geplaatst,
zal de aflezing door de omgevingstemperatuur worden beïnvloed. De
babyhuid reageert zeer snel op de omgevingstemperatuur. Neem
daarom bij baby's de temperatuur niet tijdens of na de borstvoeding met
de thermometer op, omdat de temperatuur van de huid dan lager kan
zijn dan de interne lichaamstemperatuur.
• Als de gemeten temperatuur <32°C (89,6°F) is, verschijnt het symbool
LO [laag] op de display.
• Bij een aflezing van ≥37,8°C (100,04°F) en <42,9°C (109,22°F) wordt
dit samen met een rode led en zes korte pieptonen weergegeven.
• De thermometer schakelt automatisch uit als hij 30 seconden niet wordt
aangeraakt.
Gebruik als thermometer voor objecten
• Druk eerst op de AAN/UIT-schakelaar om de thermometer in te
schakelen.
• Druk op de modusschakelaar om de Objectmodus te kiezen. Het
apparaat geeft twee korte pieptonen om aan te geven dat de
objectmodus is ingeschakeld en de temperatuureenheid knippert.
• Breng de sonde dicht naar het object en voer de meting uit. Zorg dat de
sonde plat en dicht op het object ligt, niet in een hoek. Voer de meting op
een maximumafstand van 3cm uit. Druk als de meting is voltooid op de
meetknop.
• Lees het resultaat af. Het meetresultaat verschijnt in 1 seconde. De
aflezing verschijnt samen met de ledverlichting en één lange pieptoon
geeft aan dat de temperatuur is gemeten. Even later klinkt nog een korte
pieptoon om te bevestigen dat het resultaat in het geheugen is
opgeslagen en het apparaat gereed is voor de volgende meting.
• Druk op de AAN/UIT-knop om het apparaat uit te schakelen of raak het
30 seconden niet aan. Het apparaat zal nu automatisch uitschakelen.
Geheugenfunctie
Deze thermometer kan de 25 meest recente aflezingen opslaan.
• Zorg dat de thermometer is uitgeschakeld voordat u dit geheugen
raadpleegt.
• Druk op de geheugenknop om de geheugenmodus te activeren.
• Iedere keer als u de geheugenknop indrukt, verschijnt een resultaat in de
volgorde van de data (het meest recente resultaat wordt als eerste
weergegeven), samen met “MEM” [geheugen] en een nummer (van 1 tot
25).
• Het display gaat groen, geel of rood branden, overeenkomstig de
meetwaarde uit het geheugen.
• Als het geheugen vol is, wordt het oudste resultaat gewist als een nieuw
resultaat wordt toegevoegd. Druk als de laatste gegevens op de display
zijn verschenen nogmaals op de geheugenknop om naar het eerste
gegeven terug te keren.
• Druk op de AAN/UIT-knop om de geheugenfunctie te verlaten of raak de
thermometer 10 seconden niet aan, zodat deze automatisch uitschakelt.
Het geheugen wissen
• Druk vanuit de geheugenmodus 3 seconden lang op de AAN/UIT-knop
en laat de knop los nadat het signaal -- dEL op het LCD-scherm is
verschenen, zoals weergegeven in de figuur.
• Druk vervolgens 3 seconden lang op de AAN/UIT-knop en laat de knop
los nadat het signaal -- Clr op het LCD-scherm is verschenen, zoals
weergegeven in de figuur. Nu zijn alle gegevens uit het geheugen
gewist.
Stille modus:
Druk om de temperatuur zonder pieptoon te meten op de meetknop en
houd deze minimaal 7 seconden ingedrukt tot On [Aan] of Off [Uit] op het
scherm verschijnt. Door nogmaals op de meetknop te drukken, kunt u de
pieptoon in- of uitschakelen. Druk op de AAN/UIT-knop om te bevestigen.
Als u ‘off’ [uit] selecteert, staat de thermometer in de stille modus.
REINIGING EN ONDERHOUD
• De sonde is niet waterbestendig. Neem de binnenzijde van de sonde
met een schone en droge katoenen doek af.
• Het hoofddeel van de thermometer is niet waterbestendig. Plaats de
thermometer nooit onder stromend water en dompel hem niet onder in
water. Reinig de thermometer met een zachte, droge doek. Gebruik
geen schurende reinigingsmiddelen.
• Berg de thermometer op een koele, droge en stofvrije plaats waar geen
direct zonlicht komt op.
MILIEU
Dit apparaat mag aan het einde van de levensduur niet bij het
normale huisafval worden gedeponeerd, maar moet bij een speciaal
inzamelpunt voor hergebruik van elektrische en elektronische apparaten
worden aangeboden. Het symbool op het apparaat, in de
gebruiksaanwijzing en op de verpakking attendeert u hierop. De in het
apparaat gebruikte materialen kunnen worden gerecycled. Met het
recyclen van gebruikte huishoudelijke apparaten levert u een belangrijke
bijdrage aan de bescherming van ons milieu. Informeer bij uw lokale
overheid naar het inzamelpunt.

AVANT LA PREMIÈRE UTILISATION
• Comme pour tout thermomètre, une technique appropriée est cruciale
afin d'obtenir des lectures de température exactes. Lisez attentivement
et scrupuleusement ce manuel avant tout usage.
• Toujours utiliser le thermomètre dans une plage de températures de
fonctionnement de 10°C à 40°C et une humidité relative de 15% à
85%.
• Toujours stocker le thermomètre dans un endroit sec et frais (-20°C à

et qu'il est bon état de fonctionnement avant son usage.
• Toute modification de cet équipement est interdite.
• Le dispositif n'est pas adapté à un usage en présence de mélanges
anesthésiques inflammables d'air, d'oxygène ou d'oxyde d'azote.
• Ne nettoyez pas l’appareil lorsqu’il est en marche.
• Évitez la lumière directe du soleil.
• Évitez de laisser tomber le thermomètre. Si c'est le cas et vous pensez
qu'il peut être endommagé, contactez immédiatement le service
clientèle.
• Ne touchez pas la lentille.
• Ne démontez pas le thermomètre.
• Les précautions de sécurité basiques doivent systématiquement être
respectées, spécialement si le thermomètre est utilisé sur ou à proximité
d'enfants ou de personnes handicapées.
• Ce thermomètre n'est pas destiné à se substituer à la consultation de
votre médecin.
• Ce thermomètre et le sujet doivent rester dans un environnement stable
au moins 30 minutes avant de mesurer la température.
• Le cérumen dans le conduit auditif ou l'huile et la graisse sur le front
peuvent entrainer des mesures imprécises. Veillez alors que le canal de
l'oreille ou que le front soient propres.
• Si vous avez nettoyé l'oreille ou le front, veuillez attendre 5 à 10 minutes
avant de mesurer.
• Lorsque la température mesurée se situe dans la plage de température
de la fièvre située entre 37,8°C et 42,9°C, comme indiqué par
l'affichage, veuillez consulter votre médecin immédiatement.
• Ouvrez le couvercle de la pile, retirez le film plastique et replacez le
couvercle de la pile.
• Le patient peut être l'opérateur du thermomètre. Lorsque l'appareil est
utilisé pour mesurer la température d'un enfant, il doit être manipulé par
un adulte. Les adultes peuvent mesurer leur propre température.
• La température est réglée de façon à afficher la température du corps.
Restrictions d'usage
• Il a été démontré cliniquement que ce thermomètre produit des mesures
de température exactes. Néanmoins, veuillez noter que l'exactitude ne
peut être assurée si le thermomètre est sale. Vérifiez la propreté de la
sonde avant de prendre une mesure.
USAGE PRÉVU
Le thermomètre infrarouge est destiné aux mesures intermittentes et à la
surveillance de la température du corps humain au niveau du front, dans
un cadre résidentiel, clinique ou hospitalier.
Une mesure de contrôle avec un thermomètre conventionnel est
recommandée dans les cas suivants :
• Si la lecture est étonnamment basse.
• Pour les nouveaux nés jusqu'à 100 jours.
• Pour les enfants de moins de trois ans au système immunitaire affaibli
ou réagissant inhabituellement en présence ou en absence de fièvre.
Mode de fonctionnement
Le thermomètre mesure la chaleur infrarouge générée par la surface de la
peau sur le vaisseau et le tissu environnant. Le thermomètre la convertit
alors en valeur de température.
NOTE: Le thermomètre n'émet aucune énergie infrarouge.
Mode d’affichage
Vous pouvez alterner entre deux différents modes avec l'interrupteur de
mode :
• Mode Corps : Ce mode sert à mesurer la température au niveau du
front.
• Mode Objet : Ce mode sert à mesurer la température d'un objet.
Sélection des unités de température
Cet appareil propose deux unités de mesure pour l'indication de la
température du corps ou d'un objet - °C ou °F - selon votre préférence.
• Assurez-vous que le thermomètre est arrêté avant de sélectionner les
unités de température.
• Appuyez sur le Bouton Mesure longuement (5 secondes) pour que "°C"
ou "°F" s'affiche sur le panneau LCD, comme illustré à la suite. Appuyez
sur le Bouton Mesure à nouveau pour sélectionner les unités °C ou °F.
Activation /désactivation de témoin LED
Cet appareil propose un témoin LED afin d'aider les utilisateurs à
positionner correctement le thermomètre.
• Appuyez sur le Bouton ON/OFF brièvement et le texte "LED" ou "OFF"
s'affiche sur le panneau LCD.
• Appuyez sur le bouton de mesure brièvement et sélectionnez "LED" ou
"OFF" pour activer /désactiver le témoin LED.
Remplacement de pile
Le thermomètre fonctionne avec deux piles alcalines AAA 1,5 V. Le
thermomètre affiche une indication de pile épuisée afin de vous alerter dès
que son alimentation électrique faiblit. Procédez comme suit pour
remplacer immédiatement les piles par des neuves.
• Retirez le cache de piles selon le sens fléché.
• Retirez les anciennes piles et remplacez-les par deux piles alcalines
AAA 1,5V. Attention ! Respectez les indications du Positif ( + ) et du
Négatif ( - )
• Fermez le cache de piles selon le sens fléché.
NOTE:
• Bien que le thermomètre fonctionne lorsque l'indication de pile épuisée
s'affiche, nous vous recommandons de remplacer les piles pour assurer
des résultats exacts.
• Retirez les piles en cas de période prolongée de stockage.
• Les piles doivent être conservées hors de portée des enfants. En cas
d'ingestion, demandez l'aide d'un médecin dans les meilleurs délais.
USAGE DE L'APPAREIL COMME THERMOMÈTRE DE MESURE POUR LE
CORPS
• Appuyez d'abord sur le Bouton “ON/OFF” pour allumer le thermomètre.
• Appuyez sur l'interrupteur de Mode pour sélectionner le mode Corps.
L'appareil émet un bip bref à l'allumage et les unités de température
clignotent afin de confirmer qu'il est prêt à exécuter une mesure.
• Approchez la sonde du front et prenez des mesures. Assurez-vous que
la sonde est à plat et proche du front, pas inclinée. Effectuez une mesure
sur le front à une distance de moins de 3 cm.
• Lisez le résultat. Le résultat de mesure s'affiche en 1 seconde. La lecture
s'affiche avec le témoin LED et un bip long vous informe de la mesure de
température puis, après un délai, un autre confirme l'enregistrement du
résultat en mémoire et que l'appareil est prêt à une autre mesure.
• Appuyez sur le bouton “ON/OFF” pour éteindre l'unité ou laissez-la
inactive pendant 30 secondes et elle s'éteint automatiquement.
NOTE:
• Comme une mesure sur le front risque d'être affectée par la sueur, la
graisse et les alentours, la lecture doit servir uniquement de référence.
• Si la sonde est placée inclinée à proximité de la mesure du front, la
lecture est affectée par la température alentour. La peau des bébés
réagit très vite à la température ambiante. De ce fait, ne prenez pas leur
température avec le thermomètre durant ou après un allaitement au sein.
En effet, la température de la peau risque d'être inférieure à la
température interne du corps.
• Pour une température mesurée < 32°C (89,6°F), l'affichage présente le
symbole LO.
• Pour une lecture ≥ 37,8°C (100,04°F) et < 42,9°C (109,22°F), l'affichage
l'indique avec la LED rouge et six bips brefs.
• Le thermomètre s'éteint automatiquement s'il reste inactif pendant 30
secondes.
Usage comme thermomètre de mesure pour un objet
• Appuyez d'abord sur l'Interrupteur “ON/OFF” pour allumer le
thermomètre.
• Appuyez sur l'interrupteur de Mode pour sélectionner le mode Objet. La
machine émet deux bips brefs indiquant que le mode objet est actif et les
unités de température clignotent.
• Approchez la sonde de l'objet et prenez des mesures. Assurez-vous que
la sonde est à plat et proche de l'objet, pas inclinée. Effectuez une
mesure à une distance de 3 cm. Une fois prêt, appuyez sur le bouton de
mesure.
• Lisez le résultat. Le résultat de mesure s'affiche en 1 seconde. La lecture
s'affiche avec le témoin LED et un bip long vous informe de la mesure de
température puis, après un délai, un autre bref confirme l'enregistrement
du résultat en mémoire et que l'appareil est prêt à une autre mesure.
• Appuyez sur le bouton “ON/OFF” pour éteindre l'unité ou laissez-la
inactive pendant 30 secondes et elle s'éteint automatiquement.
Fonction Mémoire
Ce thermomètre enregistre les 25 lectures les plus récentes.
• Assurez-vous que le thermomètre est éteint avant de rappeler sa
mémoire.
• Appuyez sur le Bouton Mémoire pour accéder au mode mémoire.
• À chaque pression sur le Bouton Mémoire, un résultat s'affiche dans
l'ordre des dates (résultat le plus récent en premier) ainsi que “MEM” et
un numéro (de 1 à 25).
• L'écran s'allume en vert, jaune ou rouge selon la lecture de la mémoire.
• Lorsque la mémoire est pleine, le résultat le plus ancien est effacé lors
de l'ajout d'un plus récent. Lorsque le dernier enregistrement est affiché,
appuyez à nouveau sur le Bouton Mémoire pour revenir au premier
enregistrement.
• Appuyez sur le bouton “ON/OFF” pour sortir de la fonction mémoire ou
laissez le thermomètre inactif pendant 10 secondes et il s'éteint
automatiquement.
Effacement de la mémoire
• En mode mémoire, appuyez sur le Bouton ON/OFF longuement (3
secondes) puis relâchez le bouton après l'affichage du signal -- dEL sur
le panneau LCD, comme illustré.
