Panel lock

disables the buttons on the television. All buttons on

the remote control can still be used.

From the

PREFERENCES

menu select

Panel Lock

and

choose

Off

buttons on the television are pressed.

If the standby button

is pressed the television will switch off and can only be

brought out of standby by using the remote control.

You can set the illumination mode of the TOSHIBA logo located

on the front panel to

The timers

This feature will set the television to go to a specific channel at

a certain time. It can be used to view a particular programme,

or by setting the mode to daily or weekly, can be used to view a

series of programmes.

if necessary to select an open timer position,

Edit Timer

menu will now appear

on screen.

to go through the list adding the details

of the programme by using the number buttons and

When all the details have been entered press

save the timer.

The ORANGE/RED programme timer indicator on the

front of the television will be lit (see page 53 for

details).

PLEASE NOTE:

When a timed programme is about to start, an

information screen will appear offering the option of watching

or cancelling the programme. The menus and other channels

will not be available during the timed programme unless the

programme timer is cancelled. The programme timer you set

is not performed when the TV is turned off with the

POWER

switch.
