BEFORE THE FIRST USE

• Take the appliance and accessories out the box. Remove the

stickers, protective foil or plastic from the device.

• Put the power cable into the socket. (Note: Make sure the

voltage which is indicated on the device matches the local voltage

before connecting the device. Voltage 220V-240V 50/60Hz)

• Place the device on a flat stable surface and ensure a minimum of

10 cm. free space around the device. This device is not suitable for

installation in a cabinet or for outside use.

• Before the first use boil a full kettle of water to clean the kettle and

discard this water.

USE

• Always remove the kettle from the base (No. 4) when filling it, this to

avoid water dripping into the base.

• Make sure the water level will never exceed the maximum level marker.

• If not enough water is used, the kettle will switch off, with too much

water it may boil over. Switch the device on by pressing at the on/

off switch. The indicator light will be illuminated. Once the water has

boiled, the on/off switch returns automatically to the off position.

• If the appliance is accidentally switched on when empty, the boil-dry

protection will automatically switch it off. Adding cool water will cool

the boil-dry protection mechanism which enables you to use the kettle

as normal.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and wait for the appliance to

cool down.

• Clean the appliance with a damp cloth. Never use harsh and abrasive

cleaners, scouring pad or steel wool, which damages the device.

• Use a soft damp cloth to clean the housing of the device.

• Never immerse the kettle and base in water or any other liquids.

• The device should be regularly decalcified. Use a descaling product

which is suitable for household appliances.

• Rinse the kettle several times with clean water after descaling.

GUARANTEE

• This product is guaranteed for 24 months granted. Your warranty is

valid if the product is used in accordance to the instructions and for

the purpose for which it was created. In addition, the original purchase

(invoice, sales slip or receipt) is to be submitted with the date of

purchase, the name of the retailer and the item number of the product.
