Using the oscillation function

By means of the oscillation function you can achieve consistent

heating.

1. Press the Oscillation button(15).

ð The oscillation function is activated.

ð The device operates at heating level1 or 2.

ð The device turns to and fro by up to 70°.

2. Press the Oscillation button(15) to switch the oscillation

function back off.

ð The oscillation function is deactivated.

ð The device continues the heating operation at heating

level1 or 2.

Note

Never attempt to manually adjust the pivoting

mechanism. The mechanism could be damaged. Only

change the air flow direction by use of the function

selector switch.

Setting the timer

The timer has the following functionality:

• automatic switch-off upon expiry of a preset number of

hours

The number of hours can range from 1 to 15 and can be

adjusted in increments of 1h.

Automatic switch-off

ü The device is switched on.

1. Press the Timer button(13) to activate the timer.

ð The LED for the selected number of hours(1 hour)lights

up on the timer indication(9).

2. Press the Timer button(13) repeatedly until the desired

number of hours is displayed through a combination of

numbers on the timer indication(9).

ð The timer setting equals the desired number of hours.

Notes regarding automatic switch-off:

• If the Power button(14) is pressed, the timer settings will

be deactivated and reset.

• To delete the setting, press the Timer button(13)

repeatedly until all LEDs on the timer indication(9) are off.

Fan rundown operation

In order to discharge the trapped heat from the fan heater, the

device will run in fan rundown operation after standby mode has

been activated. Once the rundown period has been completed,

the fan switches off automatically.

Shutdown

Warning of electrical voltage

Do not touch the mains plug with wet or damp hands.

• Switch the device to standby mode by pressing the Power

button(14).

• The fan keeps running for approx. 3minutes and then

switches off automatically.

• Wait until the fan has completed the rundown operation.

• Switch off the device by setting the on/off switch(6) to

position0.

• Hold onto the mains plug while pulling the power cable out

of the mains socket.

• Allow the device to cool down completely.

• Clean the device according to the Maintenance chapter.

• Store the device according to the Storage chapter.
