Introduction
1 BANK —— Indicates scan mode and scan hold mode.
2 1- 10 —— Indicates scan mode, program mode and radio mode.
In scan mode it indicates select bank.
Current scanning bank number flashes.
In radio mode it indicates a radio station channel.
3 —— Flashes when the battery voltage is low.
Indicates no battery is installed.
4 STEP —— Indicates select step menu.
5 SEARCH — Indicates limit search (hold) mode.
6 HOLD —— Indicates scan hold, search hold and radio mode (direct entry
hold).
7 PGM ——— Indicates program mode.
8 25 ———— Appears when 100Hz and 10Hz digits of the frequency is “25”.
50 ———— Appears when 100Hz and 10Hz digits of the frequency is “50”.
75 ———— Appears when 100Hz and 10Hz digits of the frequency is “75”.
9 ALARM —— Indicates ALARM is enabled.
Flashes while ALARM is being activated or snoozing.
10 L/O ——— Indicates locked out channel and at search skip frequency.
11 ———— Indicates the designated Priority channel.
12 DELAY —— Indicates delay is on.
13 MEMORY — Indicates radio mode (memory mode).
14 DIRECT — Indicates radio mode (direct entry (hold) mode).
Notes:
The backlight turns off automatically after 15 seconds from the last key
stroke (if not permanently turned on).
The scanner sounds special tones as follows:
• to confirm key entry.
• to indicate an error in key entry,
• to indicate low battery voltage.
