³The finished laminated pocket is now ejected
from the foil slot aof the laminator.
Only after hot lamination:
³Remove them immediately from the appliance,
as hot foil pockets can still be easily deformed.
Place them on a flat surface to cool down.
To improve the lamination result, you can
weigh down the still hot foil bag with a
book, a file folder or other heavy, smooth
object. This will give it a smooth and flaw-
less surface.
³If you do not want to start another lamination
process, turn the foil thickness switch oto ABS
(OFF) and withdraw the plug from the mains
power socket.
Anti-Blocking Switch (ABS)
At the start of the lamination process, the pouch
may be pulled in at an angle or jam itself inside the
appliance.
³Turn the anti-blocking switch (ABS) oto the
position ABS.
• The laminate pouch is not pulled any further in.
³Remove the laminate pouch.
³Turn the anti-blocking switch (ABS) oback to
the desired foil thickness.
³Re-start the lamination process.
Trimming function
Should you wish to use the trimming function on the
foil guide rails q, dismantle the foil guide rails q.
³If necessary, fold the documents support s
down.
³Adjust the cutter attachment dso that it forms
a straight face with the foil guide rails q.
³Slide the cutting head eto the end stop (the
cutting head ecan be slid to both ends of the
cutting rail w).
³Flap the cutting rail wupwards with the roun-
ded grip and position the document on the foil
guide rails q. Restrain the document by sliding
the foil format restraint rtogether until they
touch both sides of the document.
³Use the markings on the measurement table to
align the document precisely.
³Flap the cutting rail wdownwards so that it
engages.
³Hold the paper in a secure position with your
left hand.
³To trim, press the cutting head edown with
the right hand and then slide it with one pull or
push over the document.
