OPERATION

1. Comply with all safety instructions and safety regulations.

2. Ensure that you have selected a safe location.

3. Plug the mains plug of the appliance into an electrical outlet (220–240 V ~

50/60 Hz).

4. The operating elements are under the flap on the top side of the appliance.

5. Select the desired function via the appropriate switch:

- Ventilation for cool air

- Level „I“ for minimal heat (approx. 1,000 watt)

- Level „II“ for more heat (approx. 2,000 watt)

6. Switch the appliance to „On“ on the timer, the appliance starts running.

7. To heat a room, turn the thermostat switch clockwise to the maximum

possible setting. As soon as the room has reached the desired temperature,

slowly turn the thermostat switch counter-clockwise. The appliance heats

until the desired temperature is reached, then the appliance switches off.

The appliance will switch on again as soon as the room temperature drops

below the set temperature.

8. If you want to use the appliance without automatic room temperature

monitoring, turn the thermostat switch to the maximum setting.

9. The indicator light signals operation of the appliance and goes out when the

thermostat switch is switched on.

10. Note concerning the ventilation function: If the appliance was previously

running in heating mode, the out-flowing air will still be warm initially.

Depending on the previous heating capacity it can take some time until the

appliance provides cool air. When you set the fan function, you must place

the thermostat switch on the highest position.

Timer/Zeitvorwahl function

11. Via the Timer switch, select the desired run time between 1 and 120 minu-

tes by setting the Timer switch to the desired operating time. However, first

turn the switch completely up to the maximum possible time once, and only

thereafter turn it back to the desired minutes. After this time elapses the

appliance will switch off. If you want to let the appliance run longer, you

must set the time again. Naturally, you can readjust the timer settings at

any time the appliance is in operation.

12. To switch off the appliance, place all switches on the „0“ position and

unplug the mains plug.

Be aware that the appliance can become very hot - fire hazard! Particularly

ensure that children are kept away from the appliance.
