Important Safety Instructions
In the interest of safety, please follow these precautions prior to installation of the filter unit:
1. WARNING ! Before starting, check all accessories for correct installation and reliable connection.
2. WARNING ! Do not bury the electrical cords. Place cords where lawn mowers, hedge trim-
mers and other equipment will not damage them. Do not place cord in heavy traffic area.
3. WARNING ! Prevent children from using the filter unit without proper adult supervision.
4. WARNING ! To avoid the risk of electric shock, always be aware of damaged cords. When
the cord of motor is damaged, the motor is no longer workable and is discarded as useless.
5. WARNING ! Do not run the filter unit without water. The unit is designed only for dismountable
storable pools above the ground, not for permanently installed pools. Improper use may lead
to overheating and will burn out the motor and damage it.
6. WARNING ! The power cord of the transformer cannot be replaced. If the cord is damaged,
the transformer should be replaced with a new one.
7. WARNING ! Only connect the Transformer to an indoor socket or to a suitable IP rated
outdoor socket. The Transformer must be protected by a RCD (Residual Current Device) at all
times. DO NOT use an extension lead. Never run the pump when the pool is occupied.
Contact a suitably qualified electrician if you are in any doubt.
8. WARNING ! Locate the transformer outside the swimming pool with a distance of at least 2
meters, or above the pool with a distance of at least 2.5 meters.
9. WARNING ! Only use the corresponding transformer included with the filter unit. Transformer
model: ORPC-12080(AC-90577), SG1226W(AC-90578)
Working Theory (Please refer to Diagram 1)
The filter unit is fixed to the pool wall for the interest of safety, with working voltage of only 12v,
which is free of the danger of electrical shock. The pool water goes through filter inlet, filter cartridge,
threaded inlet, motor inlet and motor outlet and finally flows back to the pool. Pool water is filtered
in such a circulating way with minute dirt trapped by the filter cartridge.
