HOW DOES THE VENTA HYGIENE ADDITIVE WORK?

The Venta Hygiene Additive is a combination of specic active ingredi-

ents which ensure the hygienic operation of the Venta Airwasher over a

long period of time. Hard lime scale deposits are prevented. The surface

tension of the water is strongly reduced. This has the eect that the

individual discs of the disc stack are wet evenly. Water does not drip o.

The device can humidify and purify the air optimally.

WHAT ARE THE COMPONENTS OF THE VENTA HYGIENE ADDITIVE?

The Venta Hygiene Additive consists of a combination of specic active

ingredients and additives. The components originate from well-known

chemical companies which are active in the eld of water technology,

water hygiene and water preparation. All additives contained in Venta

Hygiene Additives are also applied in many other products in our eld

and have proven themselves veriably for many years. Ingredients

information: < 5 % phosphonates, < 5 % cationic detergents, nonionic

tensides, BENZISOTHIAZOLINONS, METHYLISOTHIAZOLINONS.

IS THE VENTA HYGIENE ADDITIVE BIODEGRADABLE?

The main ingredients in the Venta Hygiene Additive are biodegradable,

which can be easily be seen by the use within approx. 10 - 14 days. The

other additives or their reaction products are substances which are not

harmful to the environment as they already exist in nature. Therefore,

when exchanging the water, the residual water can be disposed of, e.g.

in the toilet.

IS THE VENTA HYGIENE ADDITIVE HARMFUL?

In more than ten years of practice, the Venta Hygiene Additive has

proven itself millions of times in the Venta Airwasher without ever having

being notied of a critical incident or health hazard. On the contrary,

many people plagued by pollen and house dust allergy use the Venta

Airwasher all year round – even outside of the heating period.

Due to increasingly stringent legal requirements (ReaCH and CLP),

specic properties of the respective constituents must be analysed

separately. This covers areas that go beyond the application area of the

hygiene additive (e.g. contact with skin, swallowing, etc.), so that the

consumer can act accordingly and take protective measures. Nothing

has changed with regard to the constituents and their associated good

properties. Of course, as with all household cleaning and maintenance

products, care must be taken and access to children must be restricted.

WHAT IS THE DOSAGE OF THE VENTA HYGIENE ADDITIVE?

The water in the Venta Airwasher should be changed every 10-14 days.

Only when exchanging (not relling) the water is a dosing unit added

(dosage for unit type indicated on back of the bottle).

HOW SHOULD THE VENTA HYGIENE ADDITIVE BE STORED?

The Venta Hygiene Additive should be stored in a cool, dry and dark

place.

WHAT IS THE SHELF LIFE OF THE VENTA HYGIENE ADDITIVE?

Shelf life: Unopened from the date of production for 30 months. After

opening the bottle, the Venta Hygiene Additive should be used up within

12 months.

DO THE SEDIMENTS ON THE UNIT BASE AND ON THE DISC STACK HAVE

ADVERSE EFFECTS ON THE FUNCTION OF THE AIRWASHER?

No. All residues in the base of the unit and on the disc stack (white,

green-yellowish or brownish deposits) do NOT have adverse eects on

the function of the Venta Airwasher. By adding the Venta Hygiene Addi-

tive, a 100% hygienic operation is guaranteed.

WHAT IS THE SHELF LIFE OF THE VENTA FRAGRANCES?

If stored correctly - in a cool and dark place – the fragrance oils can be

kept for several years.

ARE THE VENTA FRAGRANCES CLASSIFIED AS HARMFUL TO HEALTH

DUE TO THE WARNING NOTICES AND WARNING SYMBOLS ON THE

LABELS?

No, the Venta Fragrances are not classied as harmful to health. They

are made from 100% natural essential oils, which in turn contain a

multitude of natural substances. The Venta Fragrance, as a nished

product, is not classied as harmful to health according to statutory

regulations, however certain properties of the respective substances

must be considered separately. Accordingly, we classify our fragrances

in compliance with the current labelling guide of the EU substance and

preparation directive. Here, elds that go beyond the area of application

of the fragrances (e.g. swallowing, skin contact, etc.) are considered, to

ensure that the consumer can act accordingly and take precautions. The

listed fragrances will result in no undesired reactions in the majority of

consumers. Persons with allergies should check the fragrance ingredi-

ents as a precaution, to determine if these are an allergy trigger for them.
