Soak heating uni t in 8 cm (3 inches ) of white
vinegar f or 10 minutes (Fig. 4 ). Use a but ter
knife to gently remove a ny minerals from the
metal heater sur f ace (Fig. 5) . Access to t he
heater sur face c an be obtained by lif ting the
hinged cover on bo t tom of unit.

• REMOVE HEA TING UNIT: Lif t the rear of heating unit cap and
slowly rotate in a counter-clo ck wise direc tion until t he slanted
por tions of the t wo lock ing tabs is cleare d. Then lif t the heat ing
unit direc tly upwards until the lock ing tabs are clear of the water reser voir . (Fig. 1 )
• FILL THE CONT AINER: Fill container wit h tap water to the MA X water
level marked on the water res er voir .
DO NO T OVERFILL. (Fig. 2 )
• REPLACE HEATING UNIT: Align the t wo lock ing tabs on the side
of the heating unit wi th the t wo slots in the water re ser voir . The
heating unit will only engage the water res er voir in the proper
orientation. S eat the heating unit into the lock ing tabs of the water
reser voir, then rotate the h ead clock wi se to hold unit i n place.
• PLACE VA PORIZER IN STABL E POSITION: Va pourizer should
always be placed on a f irm, f lat sur f ace at least 1.2 meters
( 4 fe et) from be dside. For s afes t operat ion, vapour izer should be p laced on f loor, where it cann ot fall
or be pulled down. B e sure the power cord is out of t he way to prevent vapourizer f rom being upse t.
Protec t f loor, rug or furni ture by placing the vap ourizer on a non-metallic heat-resistant sur face.
