9 Do not defeat the saf et y purpose of the polarized or
grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two blades
with one wider than the other . A grounding type plug
has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide
blade or the third prong are provided for y our safety . If
the provided plug does not t into your outlet consult
an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.
1 0 Protect the pow er cord from being wal-ked on or
pinched particularly at plugs con venience receptacles
and the point where they exit from the apparat us.
1 1 Only use attac hments/accessories specied by the
manufacturer .
12 Use only with the cart, stand, tripod, bracket or table
specied by the manufact urer or sold with
the apparatus. When a cart is used, use
caution when moving the cart/apparatus
combination to avoid injury from tip-over .
13 Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when
unused for long periods of time.
14 Ref er all servicing to qualied ser vice personnel. Ser-
vicing is required when the apparatus has been dam-
aged in any wa y , such as po wer -supply cord or plug is
damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have f allen
into the apparatus, the apparatus has been e xposed
to rain or moisture, does not operate normally or has
been dropped.
15 T o completely disconnect unit power from the A C
mains, disconnect the unit’ s power cord from the
mains sock et.

26 K eep minimum distances 1cm around the apparatus
for suf cient ventilation.
27 The ventilation should not be impeded b y covering the
ventilation openings with items, suc h as newspapers,
table-cloths, curtains, etc.
28 At tention should be drawn to the environmental
aspects of battery disposal.
29 The use of apparat us in tropical and/or moderate cli-
mates.
30 Risk of explosion if the bat ter y is replaced by an incor-
rect type.
